bet-at-home Welcome Offer

Whether you’re a sports or casino fan, this operator typically has a welcome package to fit your needs. But it’s not always through a bet-at-home no deposit bonus. Most of the time, the operator rewards players with deposit matches.

The operator usually offers a multi-tiered welcome package with a hefty bonus at the end of it all. Simply head to the promotions page to claim this offer. As is the case with deposit matches, the more you deposit, the more you can claim in bonuses. The match percentage alongside the maximum bonus amount is okay and in line with what you'd get at other casinos of this caliber.

Overall, both bet-at-home bonuses look solid on paper. What follows are the terms both sets of customers must meet to claim the offers and ultimately withdraw their winnings.

bet-at-home Bonus Terms

You need two things to claim welcome offers at the site. There’s a typically minimum deposit amount to become eligible for the offer and then you often need bet-at-home bonus codes. Ensure you check the terms and conditions page for the exact code to use as these often change.

Next, sports fans need to wager the bonus and deposit funds several times. While this may be a turn-off, the figure involved is quite low. Plus you must do that on games with the minimum odds specified. The even better news is there’s plenty of time to meet this requirement.

Casino fans are next with a favorable figure set for the playthrough requirement. Again, the deposit and bonus amount must be wagered for you to withdraw. But we find this to be restrictive since it requires double the effort.

Still, you can speed things up by playing games with the highest contribution. Slots often contribute 100%. An interesting twist is the reduced number of times you need to wager the subsequent bonus amount. Overall, the bet-at-home bonus terms are quite standard and they shouldn’t cause too many problems.

Ongoing bet-at-home Promotions

There’s a range of bet-at-home casino bonuses to look forward to beyond the welcome package although not as much as we would love to see. There are occasional bonus opportunities for both sports bettors and casino fans. What you see at the time of your visit may come in different types and shapes. Typically, the operator will give reloads to depositing players and maybe sprinkle some bonus spins. There are sometimes free bets on the bonus menu, too.

If you are looking for something more captivating, consider participating in tournaments or competitions. Some of these competitions are seasonal while in some cases the operator holds continuous tournaments. Most of the time, these offers don’t require bet-at-home bonus codes.

Game Selection

Clearly, sports betting and the various in-play options are the bread and butter of bet-at-home and we will be focusing on these areas mainly today, but there are lots of different casino-based options here too. That’s because the brand has teamed up with a small but no less awesome list of great games providers. These include NetEnt, Microgaming, Amaya, Quickspin, and Evolution Gaming – the latter is particularly renowned for excellent live dealer games. So, let’s go through each section one at a time and see just how easy it is to find, filter, and play.

We'd like to highlight that the operator has been introducing some changes lately in the game offer and what sections are available in what jurisdictions. So, depending on where you live, you may only get access to the Sportsbook and Esports, while other players may also have access to the Casino and Poker sections.

Sportsbook and Betting

When visiting bet-at-home, you are presented with the main Sports section. From there, you can use the search bar in the top left-hand corner to find events on which to bet or travel down the left side of the screen to filter by a particular sport. To give you an idea of the types of events here, the top seven sports highlighted at the top of this list at the time of writing were as follows: Football, Table Tennis, Tennis, Basketball, Baseball, Volleyball, and Ice Hockey. So, as you can see there’s a nice selection of popular events from around the world, with a particular focus on European football and various American sports. Then, running down the middle of the screen (so long as you haven’t filtered the results), you will see the Sports Betting Highlights of that day and see all of the big matchups.

Other useful options below the list of sports include Last Minute Online Bets (great for when you want to get in on some of the action fast), Today’s Bets, and Tomorrow’s Bets. These are followed by Results, Statistics, Live Scores, and a Betting Guide. Therefore, we feel that bet-at-home does its utmost to give sports bettors all the knowledge needed to pick the right ones. Plus, the bet slip on the right-hand side is well organized and split into five sections to keep things fluid: 1-Click, Single, Combi, System, and Multiway. The only disappointing thing is that there is no easily-accessible toggle to change how the odds are shown – instead, things like this are tucked away in your account settings. So, we would love to see that provided as a dropdown option in the bet slip itself at some point in the future.

Live Odds

The Live Betting area of the site presents things in a similar fashion as for the main Sports section – so you won’t have any trouble navigating this part of the site if you already know how to place a bet. There are a few different viewing options available here that aren’t present on the Sports side of things. So, you now get to pick the Classic list view, a Grid, Multi, Combi, and a Calendar, all so that you can get a better overview of the types of bets you’d like to make.

The current big game is given pride of place in the central area of the screen, of course. At the time of writing, this was a match in Norway between Stabæk Fotball and FK Bodø/Glimt – not the most cared-about head-to-head ever, but we were impressed with the level of detail given about the game. Just below the main scoreline at the top, for example, is a dropdown called Widgets. This presents a fantastic overview of how the match has progressed so far, with graphs of how possession has switched, when goals were scored, and when cards were handed out. Below that, there is a live-updating infographic showing the latest events in the game such as one team making a dangerous attack. Really impressive stuff!

Finally, there is a super useful selection of choices that you can click to show only the relevant types of in-play bets for your preferences. Therefore, you can pick between Top Bets, Handicap, Over/Under, Number of Goals, Goal Bets, and Period Bets. So, it’s hats off to the brand here!

Slots and Table Games

When it comes to slots and classic fruit machines, things get a little bit confusing. That’s because there are two areas in which they can be found: Casino and Vegas. We couldn’t work out the distinction or why they would be divided in this way. However, in the former category, you get plenty of great games such as Starburst, Twin Spin, Gonzo’s Quest, Street Fighter II, and Trollpot 5000. Whereas, in the latter, there are titles like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: Megaways, Book of Oz, 9 Masks of Fire, Bonanza, Extra Chilli, Book of Gold: Symbol Choice, and Fruit Supreme. Therefore, you might need to switch sections regularly when searching.

Table games such as a number of variations on the classics of roulette, blackjack, and baccarat are also featured in both sections, meaning there’s more digging to do to find what you’re after. At least in the Casino section, you get some subcategories to help keep things more organized: Roulette, Blackjack, and Card Games. In the Vegas area, you only get the choice of Table Games and Video Poker. In fact, Casino has better filtering options in other areas too. Therefore, you can choose a category (meaning theme really, such as Science Fiction, Retro, Horror & Crime, etc), or by Bonus Feature (Bonus Spins, Wild Symbols, Bonus Game, etc).

Jackpots at bet-at-home

The same weird split occurs when finding the network and progressive jackpot slots at bet-at-home. In the Vegas section, there are three big ones from Microgaming: Mega Moolah, Cash Splash, and Major Millions – these regularly get up into the hundreds of thousands or even millions on occasion. Whereas, in the Casino section, there are jackpot games like Arabian Nights, Divine Fortune, Imperial Riches, Mega Joker, and Grand Spinn to play. Again, we can’t see why the games would be split in such a way, but at least you get lots of options.

Live Casino Games

Evolution Gaming provides the goods when it comes to live casino action, and things have been organized into proper sections so that you can easily find a table at which to play. The five areas you are presented with upon loading up the Live Casino section are as follows: Money Wheel, Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, and Casino Hold’em. Clicking on any of these will take you to a lobby area where you can see all of the currently running games in each category. We were pleased to see that all of the games worked flawlessly on mobile devices too. So, we have no complaints here, as the experience provided was impressive all round.

Poker

Depending on where you reside, you may have access to the fantastic bet-at-home poker section. Being one of the more old-school sites in terms of the fast-paced iGaming industry, bet-at-home also goes all-in on poker games, tournaments, and cash prizes. There are some fantastic options for new players and seasoned pros alike too. For example, down the left-hand side of the main Poker screen, you get options for Poker Promotions, Freerolls, Guaranteed, and a Tournament Calendar for checking when you can next get involved with a competitive game. There’s also a Poker School for learning the playing strategies for each of the various games and Rake & Rules. The only rather dated thing here is that you need to download a poker client for PC or Mac to get started. However, it does work well!

Usability

As we said in our introduction, the site itself looks rather dated compared to rival brands. However, while it’s not the prettiest site in the world, it functions perfectly and has obviously been fine-tuned multiple times since launching many years ago. Right up top, you get everything you need in terms of quick access links to things like Register, Log In/Out, Deposit, etc etc. Then there are the main categories that lead you to the main betting and gambling sections like Live Betting and Casino. Then, on the left-hand side, there is a useful link to Contact Us.

Everything else needed is contained in the footer at the bottom of the site. There, you get links to various pages that are only needed every now and then, including the General Terms & Conditions, About, and Responsible Gaming. You can also switch the desktop site into Mobile via a link in the footer. Finally, almost hidden away in the bottom right-hand corner, you can switch the site language from English into any one of the following: Croatian, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Serbian, Slovenian, or Slovakian.

Customer Support

Clicking on the Contact button on the left-hand side brings up the entire Help Center instead of simply launching the Live Chat function. This is great because there’s an option in the resulting popup letting you go straight to the FAQs in case your query is a particularly common one. First, you must choose a topic (listed below), then all of the related questions and answers are populated below. And there’s some fantastic detail for getting players the information they need.

These are the main categories in the bet-at-home FAQ:

  • My Betting Account
  • Deposits
  • Withdrawals
  • Sports
  • App
  • Casino/Live Casino/Vegas
  • Cash Out
  • Mobile
  • Promotions/Campaigns
  • Notifications
  • Technical Questions
  • Verification

If for some reason you can’t quite find what you’re looking for in the FAQs, then you have plenty of options for getting in touch with a customer support agent at any time, 24 hours a day. By far the best choice in our opinion is to launch the Live Chat and be speaking with someone within 30 seconds or so (sometimes even sooner!). For sports-related questions in English, you can also email [email protected] or phone the Malta office on +356 2792 2492. If it’s Casino answers you need, try [email protected] or phone +356 2792 2493.

Payment Methods

Disappointingly, there is no Payment Methods page detailing all of the choices, currencies, and limits, etc. So, you have to go to the FAQs and then be told to look at the General Terms & Conditions because each country varies in what is offered. Luckily, we did all this for you!

So, the full list of deposit methods is as follows (though you should double-check with customer support if you’re unsure about what’s offered in your country): Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, PayPay, Neteller, Skrill, Paysafecard, Trustly, EPS, GiroPay, and Bank Wire Transfer. There are no processing fees, and all of them aside from the latter option are instant. As for currencies, the following are accepted: Euros (EUR), British Pounds (GBP), Czech Koruna (CZK), Danish Krone (DKK), Polish Zloty (PLN), Swiss Francs (CHF), and US Dollars (USD).

The list is shorter for withdrawal methods: Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, PayPal, Neteller, Skrill, Paysafecard, Trustly, and Bank Wire Transfer. You get a certain amount of free withdrawals a month for certain methods, while additional ones within the same time frame can come with a charge of up to €5 each time. Also, it should be noted that the terms state that the site has the right to only payout in Euros if it so chooses, so you might need to factor in exchange rates.

Verifying Your bet-at-home Account

Verifying your account must be completed sooner or later, so we recommend getting on with it as soon as the request comes through from a member of the customer support team. Plus, the site says that betting accounts can be locked if this isn’t completed within a certain time frame – you have been warned! But, really, there’s nothing to worry about as this is a standard security check carried out by all trustworthy brands nowadays. To complete the verification process, simply follow the instructions and send in copies of things like your ID (either your passport, driver’s license, or national ID card is fine), followed by something showing your full name and address such as a bank statement or recent utility bill. Easy!

Security

This sports betting site and online casino has one of the strongest licenses in the iGaming business. The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has given its seal of approval and we’re super happy to see them included here seeing as they have a long history of player protection. Not that we have any worries whatsoever about playing at bet-at-home – the brand’s reputation is impeccable. On top of this, the use of SSL encryption and the GDPR protections offered by European companies will ensure that your personal and financial information will be transmitted and stored securely.

Final Verdict

At first look, bet-at-home seems backward in terms of the overall design aesthetic. However, we found that the site is practical rather than super fancy. Everything you need is here, whether that’s betting on obscure sports, taking a quick in-play bet for the latest big game, or taking some time out with hundreds of casino games. We found the customer support to be brilliant, the bonus offers (and their terms) to be very generous, and we couldn’t recommend playing here enough. Next time you’re on the hunt for a do-it-all site, be sure to check out bet-at-home.

What to expect

I like the fact that the wagering requirements I have to beat are low enough to manage. At the most, I have to wager the winnings from the welcome bonus 20 times and in some cases, it drops to 15 times. Maybe I'll be able to beat the requirement, maybe I won't. At the least though, I have 28 days to try.

Still getting used to the mobile site but so far no negatives to note.

Milan

The casino supports sports betting though I actually started my experience with roulette, then moved over to video slots, and then settled on Cash Splash. In total, I've won €195 after which I tried withdrawing but the customer support said I'll have to go through a few KYC policies first.

If there's one thing I've thus noticed so far, the verification takes some time to process.
