Casino, Live Casino, Sportsbook, Poker & Bingo

There are a lot of game categories at bet365, but when you enter the casino, you can easily see that some categories are a bigger focus than others. Odds and betting are what they’ve paid the most attention to, with poker coming in a close second. The typical casino games, however, almost seem to have been added as an afterthought.

Slots and table games

The bet365 casino games are split into three different categories, and these are Casino, Games and Vegas. It’s not completely clear what the difference is because the types of games they offer in each are the same. You can find both video slots and classic slots, as well as table games, in Games, Casino and Vegas, and the only thing we could find that might explain this separation is that they offer games from different game providers. For example, all of the games from NetEnt can be found in bet365 Games while the Play’n GO games are in bet365 Vegas. The section called bet365 Casino is, for the most part, made up of games from Pragmatic Play, as far as we could determine.

Even if we looked at all of the games in the three categories as a complete selection, it wouldn’t be that big. Yes, they have more than 600 games to offer, which should be plenty for most players. But compared to other online casinos, their selection is below average.

Jackpots at bet365

If you want to try your luck on some of the biggest possible wins at this casino, it’s jackpot games you should look out for, and these games can be found in all three parts of the casino. In Games, where NetEnt and Yggdrasil’s progressive jackpots are located, we could only find one of the big global jackpots, and that was Mega Fortune. Microgaming’s slot Mega Moolah can be found in Vegas, along with a wide range of slots with a smaller jackpot.

The best jackpot games at bet365 are probably in the Casino category. Here bet365 offers the Age of the Gods games from Pragmatic Play, and these are the games with a pooled jackpot. The best part of this game selection is that you can play for the big jackpot in many different types of games, including the Age of the Gods games for roulette, bingo and of course more normal slots. In our opinion, it’s these games that save the casino as a whole and they’re what make choosing bet365 Casino as a place you want to play worthwhile.

Live Casino games

In terms of live table games, bet365 has made it a bit simpler to find the games you want to play since these are all found in one category. This means there’s no need to switch between different tabs to see the whole selection, and you can easily find all the games they offer. Most of the games are, of course, the two most popular types of games at any live casino: blackjack and roulette. In addition to this, you can also find both baccarat, casino poker and lucky wheels.

For a bit of a unique experience, you should also make sure to check out the tables made exclusively for bet365 Live Casino players. These are tables with a live dealer that are not accessible from any other casino online, so here you’re playing only with other players from bet365.

Sportsbook and betting

Odds are something that bet365 truly excels at. They don’t only offer odds on a lot of different sports and events, but they are exceptionally good at adding events from all over the world. As a world market leader in odds, they follow just as many matches in South America as in Europe and Asia, making it possible for players from all over the world to find odds for the games they want to bet on.

Soccer is the sport that people bet on most, and on any given day, you can find thousands upon thousands of different odds to bet on. Not all of these are for matches played on the present day, of course, since you can also find odds for games that are coming up quite far in the future. American football, tennis, boxing and cycling are just some of the other popular sports you can bet on. Surfing, Virtual Sports, E-sports, Winter Sports, Politics and even Lotto are other categories you can find odds for in the bet365 Sportsbook.

Before you place your bets, you should also make sure to click into the news section at bet365 Sports because you'll be able to read all about the latest developments affecting the odds in the sports category you’ve clicked into. Also, you’ll find an overview of all the current odds bonuses you can claim.

Live odds

If you want to bet on matches already underway, that’s no problem. Simply go to bet365 In-Play, which is located in the main menu right next to bet365 Sports. You can then choose among the most popular sports or add your favorites to a customized menu. If you can’t find a match or an event you want to bet on that is already in progress, you can also see all upcoming events that are scheduled for live betting.

Another nice feature in the live odds section is that you can also watch live streams of a bunch of different games while you’re betting. All of the games that offer live streams are marked with a little play button, so you’ll be able to easily identify them. Just make sure you’re logged in since you won’t be able to stream if you’re logged out of your account.

Poker at bet365

In addition to sports betting, bet365 Poker is one of the categories of games this operator focuses on. With a huge player base from all over the world, you’re always sure to find loads of tournaments to participate in, and there are tournaments suited for professional players as well as beginners. Cash games and Sit & Go are also offered, so no matter what type of poker you want to play or what your skill level, you should be able to find a table that’s perfect for you.

Bingo

The last game category at bet365 is bingo. You’ll find both the regular 75-ball and 90-ball bingo games, and on top of that, you can also play 80-ball bingo and other more unique versions of this game. In the game lobby for bet365 Bingo, you can see which rooms are available to play in along with the price of a bingo card and the prize pool for the game. In this category, there’s also quite a community that you can join, and all of the rooms have a chat so you can communicate with other players and the moderators.

Bet365 Welcome Offer

All of the different categories at bet365 have their own offers, and since all of them are somewhat separate from each other, you can choose to take part in several of them. The bonuses that are available to players from different countries may vary, so make sure to check the available offers once you’ve created your account. These are the standard offers for most players:

Casino and Live Casino bonus
If you choose the category Casino, you’ll get a 100% deposit bonus, and the max of extra money amount you can get to play with is €100. You’ll need to use a bet365 bonus code for this offer, and this is BONUS100.

Games bonus
For the Games category, you’ll also get a 100% bonus, but the amount you can get is a bit less since a deposit of €50 will trigger a max bonus payout.

Vegas bonus
In the Vegas section, it’s free spins that await you as your first deposit bonus, and you can get as many as 50 of them. These free spins can be played on either Starburst, Aloha! Cluster Pays or The Legend of Shangri-La.

Sports bonus
As a new player in the Sports category, bet365 will match your first deposit of up to €50. The bonus will be paid out as bet credits.

Poker bonus
A big bonus awaits new poker players since you can get as much as €365. The bonus will be paid out in installments based on your player level.

Bingo bonus
Two different bonuses await you if you make a first deposit of £10 in the bet365 Bingo category. You’ll be able to claim both a £40 bingo bonus and a £25 slot bonus.

Bonus terms and wagering requirement

There are different terms for all the bonuses, so you should always make sure you read and fully understand the rules before accepting a bonus. The most important terms are:

  • Casino: The wagering requirement is x15 for both the deposit and bonus, but you should also take note of the fact that some games contribute more than others towards the turnover requirement.
  • Games: The bonus will be added 7 days after your first deposit, and within this timeframe, the biggest deposit you make up to €50 will be matched by 100%. Before you can claim your bonus, you’ll have to wager your deposit x30.
  • Vegas: For every euro you deposit, you’ll get 1 free spin, and the number you get will be based on the biggest deposit you make within the first 7 days in bet365 Vegas. This is capped at €50. You’ll need to wager your deposit x4 before you can claim your free spins.
  • Sports: Once your initial bet is settled, up to €50 of your deposit will be matched 100%. The bonus will be added as bet credits, and any payouts from these bets, excluding the bet credit, will be paid out as real cash.
  • Poker: There’s no wagering requirement for the poker bonus, but your bonus is paid out in €2.50 installments. The first two parts are paid out after you’ve earned 25 and 50 status points, while the rest is paid out for every 100 status points you earn.
  • Bingo: Before you can claim your bonus, you have to deposit a minimum of £10 and you also play for this amount in the bingo rooms. The bonus can then be claimed through a pop-up on the site. The wagering requirement is then 3x for the bingo bonus and 25x for the slot bonus.

Promotions and bonuses

There are always promotions you can take part in at bet365. Because all categories have their own separate bonus offers, you should make sure to check each of the tabs whenever you log in to see what’s available. Unfortunately, there is no promotions page where you can see an overview of all the bonuses you can take part in at bet365, so you’ll need to check this manually. Each tab does, however, have its own offers page with promotions for this category, but you can also see them in the banners on the site.

Usability

Because of the separation of the games and promotions, we can’t in good conscience say that the usability at bet365 is any good. This is especially true if it’s casino games you want to play. The bet365.com website does, however, have a lot of good features, such as the news section for Sports. The issue is simply finding these features.

Once you’ve gotten used to the site, it’s far better and more informative than most other online casinos and betting operator websites, but if you’re new at bet365, it will take some time to get used to the layout before you can easily navigate the site.

The two areas of the site you should make note of are the top and the bottom. The main menu at the top of the page is where you can choose which types of games you want to play, and towards the bottom of the page, you’ll find other information, such as terms and conditions, banking options and the help pages.

Mobile Casino

The easiest way to play from a mobile device, such as a smartphone or a tablet, is through your mobile browser. If you enter the normal web address, you’ll be redirected to mobile.bet365.com, which is the website made especially for mobile users. Unfortunately, this site seems to load quite slowly, but once you’re in, you can find all the same features and services that exist on the website that you can use from your desktop.

The website mobile.bet365.com will take you to the Sports page, but by clicking on the logo located at the top of the page, you’ll get to see other tabs with other game types. Clicking these different options will take you to new sites since casino.bet365.com, games.bet365.com, vegas.bet365.com, poker.bet365.com and bingo.bet365.com are all separate sites. The trick here is that clicking the logo only works from the Sports and Casino site, and not from any of the others. To change categories between Vegas, Games, Poker or Bingo, you’ll have to go back in the browser, or simply enter the site by typing in the original URL for the mobile site. In other words, the usability when you’re in the bet365 mobile casino isn’t any better than it is from desktop, and it may be even worse.

Bet365 Help and Support

The support at bet365 is open 24/7, and you can always contact them via live chat or phone. The chat option is as always the quickest, and you can find the link for this chat both in the main menu at the top of the page and in the footer of the page. The footer is also where they’ve chosen to locate their FAQ.

These are the main categories in the bet365 FAQ:

  • Login Problems
  • Deposits
  • Account verification
  • Withdrawals
  • Cashouts
  • Responsible Gaming

In addition to these frequently asked questions, you can also choose a category of games and see the most popular questions for each of these.

Deposits and Withdrawals

If there’s one thing bet365 is good at, it’s banking options. They support almost all the payment options available, and this includes PayPal and Apple Pay. The methods that are available to you will, however, depend on the country that you registered your account from. Bank transfers, debit- and credit cards, prepaid options and e-wallets are the options all players will usually have. Another available option is deposits by cheque. If you want to use this option you should, however, plan ahead, because it may take up to 28 days before the funds are credited to your account.

The payment methods you can choose from for withdrawals will depend on both the method you choose for deposits and your location. To see all the options that are open to you, you should log in to your account, and go to the cashout page to see what’s offered.

Verifying your bet365 account

Verifying your account should take less than 48 hours. This is at least the timeframe in which bet365 aims to review your documents once you’ve uploaded them to the site. You’ll get detailed information about what you need to upload and how, and you can also read about this process in their FAQ. You’ll always need to submit a photo of an ID card and a letter or an invoice from a reputable company that contains both your name and address, as well as the date the letter was issued.

Security and Licensing

bet365 used to have a license from the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority (GRA), but simultaneous with the Brexit vote (coincident?), they decided to leave Gibraltar and relocate their headquarters to Malta, and they changed their license to the one from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA). These two licenses can be used for more or less all of the same countries, so for players, there were no noticeable changes. In addition to the MGA license, bet365 also holds licenses in a number of other countries, thereby ensuring that players from around the world can legally and safely gamble on their website.

Conclusion of Bet365 review

It’s hard to come up with an overall conclusion about bet365, simply because this game operator seems like it’s been diced up into different parts. We do like the Sports section because they have a very good selection and a variety of nice features, but we’re not too excited about the part of the site that holds the casino games.

Overall we’d be happy to recommend bet365 to anyone looking for a great sportsbook for betting and for those looking to play real poker against other players. On the other hand, if the only category of games you’re interested in are casino games, then you should take a look at some of the other casinos we’ve tested instead. That being said, it’s not like the casino selection is bad on its own, it’s just that the usability of the site puts us off a bit.
