Circus.be Welcome Offer

Being a Belgian online casino, the chances of players coming across welcome offers is zero. The country banned all bonuses in March 2020. That means you shouldn’t expect Circus.be no deposit bonus options.

Not even deposit matches or Circus.be free spins are available. With that said, the promotions page tends to feature various tournaments and even a VIP program. You can learn more about these offers and what to expect from them.

Circus.be Bonus Terms

With the absence of welcome bonuses on Belgian casinos, there are no terms and conditions attached to the would-be offers. Therefore, you don’t have to worry about remembering Circus.be bonus codes to activate any offer. Wagering requirements, as well as wagering contributions, are also non-existent here thanks to the ban on bonuses.

Ongoing Circus.be Promotions

The promotions page on this platform usually has just but a handful of Circus.be bonuses to claim past the welcome offer. This is due to the Royal Decree that outlaws free spins, free bets, and such online casino bonuses. In that case, boosting your bankroll could be quite tough.

But tournaments could also feature among the ongoing promotions. Generally, the rules involved in these competitions are collecting as many points as possible by playing the chosen games. These points allow you to rank on the leaderboard. But then your position often determines the reward you get. Speaking of rewards, you could get cash prizes, loyalty coins, or even physical gifts. Rarely do you need Circus.be promo codes to join these competitions.

There’s another way members could get special rewards. And that’s through the operator’s VIP program. Most of the time, these rewards are either loyalty coins or surprises. Therefore, you’ll have to wait until you open your personal gift box to find out what the surprise is. As is the case with most loyalty programs, the higher the VIP status, the better the perks.

Game Selection

Casino, Live Casino & Sportsbook

Circus promises an incredible number of online games, and there are more than 1,500 titles available. The real number could be even higher, but we stopped counting when we hit that 1,500 mark. This operator covers all relevant categories and also has a solid live tables section for punters who prefer a more realistic approach. Sports enthusiasts can place their bets at a top-notch sportsbook, but more on that later.

Slots and Table Games

If you think finding your favorite Circus games will be like finding a needle in a haystack - think again! This provider added many useful categories, filters, and a search tool to make this entire ordeal a piece of cake. Certain slots are even categorized by theme, which is simply superb, as there are many punters who play only westerns or seasonal games related to an upcoming holiday. New games are added regularly, and thanks to providers such as NetEnt and Pragmatic Play, they’ll always be a fine number of new slots to try. Aurum Codex by Red Tiger is one of the latest additions to their library, and its mesmerizing graphics and enchanting sound effects will take your breath away, not to mention some pretty neat multipliers.

Table games are categorized by type, so you can find subcategories such as Roulette, Video Poker or Blackjack. There are over 35 types of roulette, 30 blackjack variants, and more than 20 kinds of video poker. Some games, like baccarat, don’t have a category of their own, so make sure to use the search bar to find them. The most captivating game among table classics is Steampunk Roulette VIP, which will immediately transport you to the time of the industrial revolution thanks to cool graphics.

Jackpots at Circus

With close to 90 jackpots, there is nothing to complain about here. Even though you won’t find some popular titles like Mega Moolah or Mega Fortune, there are still plenty of jackpots to enjoy. The majority of jackpots are provided by iSoftBet, but there are also games by Apollo, BetSoft and several other providers.

One of the most prominent games in this category is simply titled Blood. This Apollo title can be categorized as a horror slot, as it is filled with vampires, coffins, crucifixes and wooden stakes. Despite it not being everyone’s cup of tea, it still has some great payout potential thanks to multipliers and other features. Players who want something more colorful and less scary can try Charms and Clovers, a game with a classic Irish theme, and three progressive jackpots. Traditional Irish music, pots of gold, quirky leprechauns and pints of beer - does it get any better?

Live Casino Games

Live casino is powered by two software companies: Fazi and Evolution. While most punters are already familiar with the Evolution repertoire and know what to expect, Fazi leaves a somewhat underwhelming impression with only two games available: Live Automatic European Roulette and Live Automatic Roulette Triple Crown. Most players won’t mind playing a spin or two on these bad boys, but more variety and a greater number of tables definitely wouldn’t hurt.

As always, Evolution delivers some top-notch, luxurious games that will make you feel like a high roller at a fancy casino in Macau or Las Vegas. The operator is using a system of lobbies, meaning every game has its dedicated entrance. Once you click the icon representing the game, you’ll immediately see all the variants available. Considering Evolution is probably the biggest provider in the entire live gaming sector, you get access to some high-quality tables, with professional dealers and fancy backgrounds.

Circus has real brick-and-mortar venues, so it is surprising they decided to focus on live casino too, but at the same time, modern-day players want their games available 24/7 right at their fingertips. We are happy to report that besides casino classics, there are also some gaming shows including Crazy Time, a colorful and fun wheel-based game beloved by all generations.

Sportsbook and Betting

The sportsbook can be easily accessed from the main menu, and once you enter this category there’s no mistake - it delivers almost every sport betting category you can think of. From popular evergreens like football and basketball to seasonal sports like Alpine skiing, there are over 20 disciplines to choose from. Having trouble trying to figure out what to bet on? Take a sneak peek at their Trending feature that displays all the most popular upcoming events. Also, make sure to take advantage of the Not to Be Missed section, dedicated to events with the best odds and some betting boosters (but more on those later).

The sportsbook is really easy to use. Once you click the sport or the competition you are interested in, the bookie will introduce you to all available matches. Simply find your favorite and click it. The bet slip will show up in the form of a pop-up. Then, all you have to do is place your bet! There are single, combo, and system bets available, all neatly organized in separate tabs on your electronic bet slip. That way, you can easily mix and match bets, while keeping a good overview of all your wagers.

Live Odds

Not in the mood to plan ahead and want to go with the flow? Circus sportsbook supports live betting as well, just be sure to click the right tab. The number of bets available will not be very impressive compared to pre-match bets, but that is completely understandable - after all, these bets are based on events that are currently in progress.

The live betting section will immediately inform you how many events there are, and organize them by sports discipline for you. Some events even support a live streaming service that is available only to registered customers. It is also possible to mark events as favorites and access them all from a single category. We must admit that the live betting section of this bookie doesn’t offer anything out of the ordinary but still manages to leave a good impression thanks to simple and straightforward betting opportunities on a minimalistic interface.

Usability

The Circus platform comes in a refreshing combination of white and red, which also leaves a professional impression. This operator is not trying to seduce you, as they are quite aware of their quality and advantages compared with competitors. Truth be told, as soon as we opened the website, we had a feeling of entering a reliable and trustworthy casino, and not some operator on steroids with flashy graphics and annoying banners. The platform is operated directly from the browser and works fine on all modern-day computers, both Windows and Mac, and browsers, Chrome and Safari.

The games and sportsbook are organized by tabs and categories that are logical and self-explanatory. Casino customers can use a variety of filters, subcategories and a search bar to find their favorites, while sports punters have a chance to mark the matches they are interested in so they can be added to their favorites. We experienced no difficulties, delays, errors or weird redirections. Everything is right there, available to you at all times. The website is available in English, French and Dutch, which is nice, especially for punters who can’t speak English.

Mobile Casino

Circus mobile casino comes in two forms. First, there is a mobile-optimized website that works perfectly on any device and operating system. All you need to use it is a charged phone, some WiFi or internet data and a working browser. However, if you prefer more instant access, we are happy to report there are also Android and Apple apps available. You can download them from the website by using the QR code scanner. Android installation takes some time, and requires some adjustments of your phone settings, so players who are not as tech-savvy better opt for the mobile-optimized website. Even though Circus delivers simple instructions on how to install the app, we are sure some players don’t want to bother with changing their phone settings.

The mobile website is very simple and easy to use. The color scheme and the website layout is pretty similar to the desktop site, only altered to the nature of smartphones and tablets. Different categories can be accessed from the expanding menu in the upper left corner. Categories are marked with icons that represent the betting genre, so there is no confusion. The platform works impeccably on a regular home WiFi and on mobile internet data, so smooth and safe gaming sessions are guaranteed.

Customer Support

Customer support is available seven days a week, from 8 am to 3 am. There is no live chat feature, and you have to use an online form provided on the website. According to the company, agents reply within 15 minutes. You can also send a message via Facebook page for their sports betting platform. Facebook customer support replies within 6 hours.

These are the most common questions in the Circus Casino FAQ:

  • I’d like to turn off my default limit, how should I proceed?
  • Do I need to authenticate my account when I register at Circus?
  • Which licenses are available on Circus?
  • Is my money safe on Circus?
  • What should I do if I haven't received my Club gift?

The FAQ section is essentially a list that covers all important questions (including the ones above) in no particular order.

Payment Methods

Circus supports several payment methods, predominantly online bank transfers and prepaid cards such as PaySafeCard. The minimum deposit is €10, and all customers are subjected to a personal deposit limit of €500 per week by default. This is done in accordance with Belgian regulations, but you can ask the company to revoke the limit. If you are an international customer, you can disable the limit at your own risk, while Belgian punters have some additional paperwork to do. The maximum possible limit per transaction is €25,000, which is quite high, and more than enough even for the biggest high rollers. Minimum withdrawal is also €10 when playing online.

The banking section of the Terms and Conditions is very detailed and provides almost all the information a player might need. They also state that the company reserves the right to charge a 15% handling fee on all money transactions if the player didn’t use the money for playing games, as well as management fees on the majority of pots or stakes and participation fees. This stipulation might surprise some punters, but considering it is written right then and there and is not hidden in some obscure place on the website (or not available at all), it is impossible to say anything against it. Take it or leave it!

Verifying Your Circus Account

Players must verify all the information they provided to the casino during the registration process. The company reserves the right to check the solvency of a player, and in order to use the website, you must provide bank account details and details of financial transactions. What is interesting is that the company's team can contact you immediately upon registration to check out your personal information, even if you haven’t made a deposit yet. The account verification is the company's legal obligation, and even though it can be a nuisance, it is still essential to keep both the casino and the customer safe from any malevolent third parties.

Security

Circus is operated by Ardent Group, one of the biggest and most reputable companies in Belgium that has been around for 20 years, and has over 30 casinos and betting venues across the country. Ardent Group also owns the Grand Casino de Namur and Grand Casino de Spa, the two biggest and most luxurious land-based venues. Of course, a company like that couldn’t operate without a valid license, and theirs is provided by the Belgian Gaming Commission

The website is equipped with standard SSL encryption for safe money transfers, and their Privacy Policy clearly shows they are operating according to all EU laws regarding data protection. Still not convinced? Feel free to check out the full document available on the website - it is 12 pages long and defines how your information is stored, used and when it can be deleted. Also, right at the bottom of the document, you’ll find contacts you can reach out to if you believe Circus casino breached your privacy and obtained or used your data illegally.

Final Verdict

Before we even tackle our opinion on Circus casino, let us just say that when there is a big company such as this one behind a gaming site, there is little to talk about. Let’s face it - this is not some small casino run by a random company, but something we could call a casino corporation. Circus is available not only as a website but also in the form of land-based venues. Furthermore, it is highly regulated, has a great reputation, enticing offers and an impressive selection of games and a high-quality sportsbook so every punter can find some games and sports to look forward to. Yet, does this mean it will be a perfect choice for all punters?

Well, considering that it is such a popular brand it is needless to say that it will be a perfect choice for many, but not for all casino enthusiasts. Some players simply don’t like playing at big casinos and have every right to do so. Others prefer operators with generous bonuses and live chat customer support available 24/7. Such players should look elsewhere. But if you are looking for a regulated casino with a rich portfolio - Circus is a good place to start!

There's a live chat at the casino that I love due to how friendly the agents are when talking to their customers. Also, they don't waste time when getting answers so most of my chats don't last for 10 minutes. The website looks great even on my iPhone 7+ and so far, I haven't been disturbed by any game not loading up properly or anything. Since the casino ignored the industry norm of welcome bonuses, I don't have to worry about wagering any requirement anytime soon.

The casino lacks bonuses because there's nothing except a VIP club here which I'm going to ignore. They could have at least added the option to chat live with the representatives.
