Pros
- 800+ top casino games
- Nice welcome bonus
- Plenty of promotions
- 24/7 customer support
- Works well on mobile
Cons
- Many country restrictions
- Site design is outdated
- No live casino games
Founded in 2014 from its base in the Caribbean, this online casino looks rather outdated compared to its more modern rivals, but it still packs a punch when it comes to top-class casino entertainment. There are close to 850 games available here, more promotions than you could use in a lifetime, and lots of slots tournaments to keep your interest going in the long run. Plus, there is now 24/7 customer support available, acceptance of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (as well as regular fiat currencies, of course), and a pretty decent welcome bonus package to entice new players inside the virtual doors. So, let’s see if this site lives up to the magic of Las Vegas…
Vegas Crest Casino review
What to expect at Vegas Crest:
- 800+ top casino games
- Nice welcome bonus
- Plenty of promotions
- 24/7 customer support
- Works well on mobile
Slots, Jackpots, Table Games & More
The site features more than 800 casino games in a variety of genres, but we must point out that some of the major providers (such as NetEnt, Microgaming, and Playtech) are not present here. Instead, the releases come from the smaller studios such as Betsoft, Booming Games, Rival, Concept Gaming, Habanero, Saucify, and Mobilots. There are some exclusive games on the site, however, which helps give this brand a slight edge over its main competitors.
Slots and table games
The vast majority of the titles here are either video slots, progressive jackpots (see below for more on these), and classic fruit machines. Luckily, there are several categories that can be selected to help you find your next favorite slot in a matter of moments. Things are organized for all things based on reels at the top level into Featured Games, All Games, and Video Slots.
The latter is then split even further to allow you to drill down into the specifics of what you want to play. The following categories are available from a handy dropdown menu called Video Slots: All Slots, Progressives, 3D Slots, 5 Reel Slots, 3 Reel Slots, Exclusive, iSlots, and Chain Reactors. Finally, games can be filtered by the provider, the overall rating, in a list from A-Z (or Z-A if you like), or via various tags such as Horror, Bonus Rounds, and Multipliers – this is amazing for getting to certain themes or features quickly. Plus, you can search for a game directly by its title in a bar over on the right-hand side. You can also tag your favorites!
To give you an indication of the type of video slots and fruit machines you’ll be playing at Vegas Crest, here are the top seven releases on the Featured Games list at the time of writing: Super Marble: Hold and Win, Burning Classics, Star Gems, Hey Sushi, Show Master, Charms, and The Hive. So, as you can see, there’s a great variation in terms of themes. And some of the Exclusive Games featured were Sands of Egypt, Princess of the Sea, and Lost Vikings.
There’s also a wide selection of roulette, blackjack, baccarat, video poker, bingo, keno, and scratch cards available to play. Therefore, we’re pretty impressed with how much there is to do.
Vegas Crest Casino jackpot slots
Any decent online casino’s jackpot list would include the best of the best from Microgaming, NetEnt, and a few others. That’s not the case here, however, so we can’t help but feel jackpot hunters would be better off playing somewhere else. Not that there aren’t some good jackpots available at Vegas Crest – it’s just that the list is kind of small and the prizes on offer tend to be in the thousands rather than the millions that some slots like Mega Moolah tend to reach.
To see what’s available at this site, you need to choose Video Slots followed by Progressives. This, at the time of writing, brought up a total of seven games with the top prizes going from around €3,000 to €150,000 – so, still, a pretty decent payday if you happen to hit the big one! The seven games ready to play are Money Magic, Strike Gold, Major Moolah, One Million Reels BC, Fairy Nights, Greek Myths, and Winds of Arabia. Therefore, it’s not the most well-known list of jackpot games ever seen, but it does provide some big prize entertainment in a pinch.
Live casino games
We must admit that it was hugely disappointing to see that there are no live casino games whatsoever offered here – especially as the site is trying its best to utilize an association with the Las Vegas strip. Therefore, we really hope that some live dealer releases from Evolution Gaming, NetEnt Live, or Ezugi (to name but a few) eventually make their way onto the site, as this would significantly boost the appeal of the brand when judged against its major competitors.
Having said all that, however, if live casino doesn’t interest you much compared to video slots, table games, and video poker, for example, then you won’t be missing out on too much here. Nevertheless, we’re docking some points because live dealer games are so popular nowadays.
Not only do you get a two-part welcome bonus deal at Vegas Crest, but you’ll also receive 10 free spins for the slot Weekend in Vegas. This gives you a chance to try out the site with no risk whatsoever, so you may as well go for it if the site appeals to you. Following on from that, you also get two match deposit bonuses as part of the welcome offer. Plus, there are even more free spins up for grabs so long as you make a qualifying deposit of €25 or more. Here’s how it works:
- First deposit: Claim a 200% up to €1,000 bonus + 30 free spins for Yak, Yeti & Roll
- Second deposit: Claim a 300% up to €1,500 bonus + 60 free spins for Cleopatra VII
With such high percentages and huge amounts of bonus funds being offered, we have to admit that this is one of the best welcome packages we’ve ever seen. Plus, you get all of those free spins on top! And all you have to do to max out the deal is deposit €500 each time – giving you a grand total of €3,500 in playing funds. Not that you have to deposit that much, of course. Even the minimum deposits of €25 each time will give you €175 in total playing funds, plus 100 spins!
Bonus terms and wagering requirements
We really did expect that, with such a good deal on the table, that there would be some very harsh terms buried in the small print. However, we have to say that the terms of the welcome bonus are reasonable and totally in line with the industry average. Therefore, you must wager the deposit and bonus amounts combined 30 times. Just note that only slots, chain reactors, bingo, keno, and scratch cards count towards the requirements 100%. All other games contribute as little as 25% or even less. Also, you only have seven days to complete the wagering requirements. Finally, the wagering for any winnings from your no-deposit free spins is 99 times and the maximum you can withdraw is capped at €100.

Promotions and bonuses
There are so many different promotions, tournaments, and prize draws on offer after you’ve been through the welcome bonus stage that we couldn’t possibly list them all here. But, trust us, there is one heck of a lot of deals going on at any one given time. For example, you can get a reload bonus on your first deposit every single day – plus this promo is offering 200% each time! Then there are VIP Tournaments every week with a top prize of €2,500 each time. Seriously, there are so many deals such as match deposit bonuses, free spins packages, refer a friend offers, as well as tournaments for poker, bingo, blackjack, slots, and many others – you name it!
We made mention of VIPs above, but there is no dedicated program for the loyalist high rollers, unfortunately. Nor is there a loyalty scheme, which is a shame. We’re pretty sure that if you stick around, play lots of games, and deposit fairly regularly, a VIP manager will be in touch to offer you more perks. But as this was not advertised on the site, we can’t promise such things will happen. Let’s hope the brand can offer a bit more in the future for its regulars and high rollers.
We found the site was hugely outdated (as if nothing had changed since it launched in 2014), which instantly put us off and made things a bit limited in terms of navigation. The games filtering was on point, as we mentioned above, but many other areas of the site look and feel tired and set in the past. Even the game icons look like they're from another casino era entirely. So, we feel that this site needs to be redesigned from the ground up if it’s to carry on competing.
In terms of getting around the site, you have the usual return Home button, as well as options for Registering, Signing In/Out, and making a Deposit. Down the left-hand side of the screen, you can access the Promotions page and the various filters for the games as mentioned above. But there’s nothing else! What about quick access to things like Payment Methods, FAQs, and Contact Us? Hence why we say this site needs a complete rebuild. The only good thing is that the Live Chat button hovers over in the bottom right-hand corner so that’s easy to reach.
The only other options are buried (as in, easily missed because they are written in grey text on a black background) down in the footer. Again, no Payments page exists here, which is hugely disappointing, but you do get a few options for links to other vital pages as follows: Promotions, Bonus Terms, Privacy Policy, AML & KYC Policy, Responsible Gaming, and Contact Us. So, all in all, we say that this is the main area in which Vegas Crest Casino falls flat on its face.
Mobile casino
Having said all of the above, we were shocked to find that the site functioned perfectly well on mobile devices. All of the same horrible design choices and drab look are present on the smaller touchscreen version of the site, but at least it worked and we were able to do all of the things to which we’re accustomed, such as signing in, making deposits, and playing our favorite games. And at least the main menu options were placed inside a hamburger menu for neatness.
Pretty much all of the 850 or so games were available on the mobile version of the site (we only noticed a few omissions when looking side by side), so you shouldn’t have any problems there. It’s just that the whole site is a bit uninspiring to look at. We sincerely hope this improves soon!
Clicking the red Support button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen brings up three options: Help, Live Help, and FAQs. The latter consists of 20 questions about various things, but there is no way to search for something using keywords or to narrow the choices by carefully chosen categories. Instead, everything is lumped into one long list – plus, we can tell this page hasn’t been updated in a very long time, as one answer claimed a total of 260 casino games were available – this is an outright lie that is contradicted on various other pages on the site.
These are the main categories in the Vegas Crest Casino FAQ:
- Games
- Security
- Depositing
- Withdrawing
- Fairness
- Legal
- Registration
- Bonuses
- Responsible Gaming
We wouldn’t trust the FAQ page to bring you up-to-date answers on anything, to be honest, so you’ll need to take advantage of the excellent customer support team that is available around the clock, every single day of the year. Our preferred option was to use the Live Chat window. The claimed response time is ‘Instant’, but normally we were chatting to someone within less than a minute, which is great to see. Two other, much slower, options exist. You can wing an email over to [email protected] or break out your ancient fax machine and send your query that way on the following number: (00356) 2133 1804. So, while seeing a fax number included gave us a little chuckle seeing as how old fashioned it is nowadays, it would have been better to have a human being connected to this number, in our humble opinion.
We’re not really sure if we should believe the FAQ page about deposit methods (the now renamed Moneybookers was still listed there!), so we did our own investigation instead. From the deposit page, we were given the following options: Visa, Mastercard, Ukash, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, Bitcoin, and Bank Wire Transfer. In terms of fiat currencies that can be used, you get to choose between Euros (EUR), Great British Pounds (GBP), or US Dollars (USD).
All of the same payment methods are available as withdrawal options, too. However, you won’t get your money super fast, as it can sometimes take up to three working days to even process your request. That means, with slower forms of transactions such as Bank Wire Transfers, it might be anything up to 10 business days before you see the money back in your account. It’s also worth noting that there is a €3,000 cap on each withdrawal request, so look out for that.
Verifying your Vegas Crest Casino account
Around the time of your first withdrawal (it could be required earlier than this too), you will be asked to send in some documents to complete your account verification. There’s nothing to worry about, however, as this is something done at every online casino today. So, when the time comes, be ready to send copies of your ID (a passport, driver’s license or national ID card will suffice) and something showing your home address such as bank statement or utility bill. Plus, once this security check has been approved, you won’t have to do anything of the sort again.
Due to the location of this online casino and the fact that the people behind it wanted to accept Bitcoin payments, there was only really one natural choice for a license. Therefore, Vegas Crest Casino is regulated by the Government of Curacao in the Caribbean. This license used to have a bad reputation due to the ease with which it could be obtained by anyone and their mother, but now things have been tightened up considerably by the Dutch Government – Curacao is an overseas territory of the Netherlands, you see. On top of this, the whole site uses superstrong 128-bit SSL encryption to help keep your personal and financial details under lock and key.
There’s a lot to like about this online casino, including the excellent game filters, a brilliant welcome bonus package (and plenty of promotions after that), and super customer support that is available 24 hours a day – even by fax! However, there are some major shortcomings in terms of the overall design, outdated FAQ answers, and missing pages that we consider vital for a great online casino experience. Then there’s the fact that there are no live dealer games, which is a great shame. So, all in all, Las Vegas this ain’t, but with a few tweaks, it could get a little closer.
