Launched in 2020, this new online casino based in Malta has plenty to offer compared to its rivals in a hotly contested market. For starters, there’s a great selection of casino games from some of the best providers on the planet, as well as a fantastic live dealer area that gives players plenty of options for exploring more Las Vegas-style table games in an ideal setting. Then, there’s a decent welcome bonus package, brilliant customer support, and lots of choices for depositing and withdrawing...

Vegaz Casino is a gaming site that offers traditional casino entertainment combined with state-of-the-art crypto technology. Players always enjoy the glitz and glamor of Vegas but this casino has one foot in the future with new and exciting ways to fund your gaming. But, of course, as useful as cryptocurrency is to some players, it’s not something that we judge a casino on overall, so what else does Vegaz offer?
Zev Casino is another gaming site that tries to cover all bases with classic gaming experiences mixed with ultra modern banking options like bitcoin and ethereum cryptocurrencies. True, this might not mean much to some players but option and variety is everything in such a competitive online gaming environment. Zev Casino brings that variety in many ways and we’ll look into exactly how later on in this review. As a taster, you can expect thousands of games, huge bonuses, free spins, and some par...
Owned and operated by EveryMatrix Gaming Ltd. FlipperFlip came into the limelight in 2019, meaning it’s a newcomer in the online gambling industry. Nevertheless, the operator shows great promise to its patrons with a wide array of games – over 2,300 titles from top software providers.
GratoWin is more of a niche casino serving a specific market, in this case, France and French-speaking countries although you can switch between five other languages. With the online gambling space being continuously competitive, this is a commendable move. With that, the operator can offer an exclusive range of games in various categories such as slots and table games.
Cheeky Casino is one of the many casinos in the Nektan family, one of the top operators in the iGaming industry. The casino appears to be more focused on mobile gaming but the desktop version is still attractive. In terms of the games available on the platform, CheekyWin scores below average with titles just spilling over the 600 mark. However, players will find an amazing loyalty program packed with great perks.
If you're looking for a truly unique gambling experience online, then Bitsler might be a good choice for you. We’re not completely sure we’d actually call it a casino, since it doesn’t have much in the way of the normal kinds of casino games we’re used to finding online. There are no slots, there’s no live casino, and the site doesn’t have sportsbook. In fact, the only classic casino game they offer is roulette. This might seem weird at first, but once you get used to it, it can be just as much...

Gambling regulation – Gambling Act 2003
Regulation of gambling in NZ is based on the Gambling Act of 2003, and The Gambling Commission is the regulating body that’s in control of everything from laws to licenses. The Gambling Commission is part of the Department of Internal Affairs, and they’ve set up the current regulation that states that gambling is prohibited unless the operator has a license.
There are currently six licensed land-based casinos in the country. Still, the law clearly states that remote gambling, i.e., gambling using a device from outside casino premises, is completely prohibited. Licensed land-based casino operators all have to donate a portion of their profits to community improvement, which is one of the requirements that keeps gambling from being completely banned in the country.
As mentioned earlier, although local laws restrict players from finding and using local online casinos in New Zealand, this doesn’t restrict players in any way from playing at online casinos that are licensed elsewhere. Operators that are licensed in Europe, especially those with an MGA-license, are hugely popular amongst Kiwis, and there are plenty of these types of casinos to choose from.
Casinos in New Zealand
Of course, if you’re looking for some land-based live gambling, the six licensed brick-and-mortar casinos will allow you to play plenty of table games, in addition to slot machines. The minimum age at these casinos is 20, while sports betting is permitted for those 18 and up. The land-based casinos are evenly spread out across the country, which means that you’re never too far from one.
