We know which teams are most popular for fan tattoos, but what about the players themselves? FC Barcelona’s captain, Lionel Messi takes the top spot with 2,193 posts, where fans have had this football legend tattooed onto their skin, followed by Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar with 1,690. The third with 1,530 is former Argentinian footballing icon, Diego Maradona who sadly passed away in December 2020, he was regarded as one of the best players in the world.
