Dream Catcher

The Dream Catcher game is a popular and fun-to-play Live Casino product offered by the kings of live casino software, Evolution (formerly known as Evolution Gaming). The reason for its popularity comes from the fact that it’s effortless to play, the rewards are on the high end, and there is a lot of interaction with the game presenter. The Dream Catcher casino release is more of a TV game show at the end of the day, and it has its origins based on Wheel of Fortune-style titles you would find in brick-and-mortar casinos all over the world. Let’s find out more…

How to play Dream Catcher

Playing Dream Catcher online has never been so simple and straightforward, and it’s easy to get the gist of it as you go along. Plus, the croupier will always help you. And we’ve always got your back too. So, without further ado, let’s dive a bit deeper into Evolution's Dream Catcher rules

The whole action happens on a giant numbered wheel split into 54 equally sized sections. Each section has a number on it, which actually equals your bet’s payout. As you probably guessed by now, the game’s purpose is to guess the number at which the wheel will stop when it finishes spinning. If your chosen number matches the final result at the end of the spin, you’re a winner.

Let’s not forget we are still in a casino, so the distribution of the numbers is not equal on the wheel. This means that lower payout numbers have a higher chance of winning, whereas higher payout numbers have a lower chance. This is why the number 1 takes up 23 sections, while the number 40, for example, only takes up one section. The wheel also has two sections containing an X2 and an X7 multiplier, but we will get to that below. All good so far? Then, let’s move on…

Place your bets!

Now that we have explained the rules, let’s discover how to play Dream Catcher, step by step.

Once you open the game, you might have to wait for it to end before placing your bets. That’s because you might’ve arrived mid-spin. Once that round is over, however, you will see a green message inviting you to place your bets. You then have about 15 seconds in which to do this before the same message turns red to bets are closed. The presenter then starts spinning.

Note that you have the option to place a bet on the following numbers: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 40. The nice thing about this game is that you can bet on how many numbers you want with any stake variation you please.

Once bets are closed, the presenter starts spinning the wheel in order to find out the winning number. The action is pretty fast-paced, with one round (including both the bet placement and the spinning of the wheel) taking roughly between 45-60 seconds. Hence, its popularity!

Dream Catcher winnings & payouts

Things are pretty simple and easy to understand in terms of payouts, even if this is the first time you are playing. As mentioned above, the numbers you bet on represent the payouts. This means that if you bet on the number 1 and win, the payout is 1:1. If you bet on 2, the payout is 2:1, and so on. This means that the highest payout you can get is 40:1 if you bet on 40 and win.

However, the best thing about the game is the fact that you can always hit one of the two multiplier sections that we mentioned earlier. When the wheel stops on a multiplier, it will be spun again by the presenter. However, your winnings will be either X2 or X7 depending on what multiplier the wheel has landed on. If the wheel lands on a multiplier more than once in a row, the payouts will stack, meaning that two X7 multipliers can net you X49 of your winning number!

Game Features

The game has some really cool features that make it fun and enjoyable. The game room has a chat that you can use to interact with the presenters, which replicates the feeling of playing at a land-based casino. You can also see the last 21 numbers to be chosen by the wheel on the right-hand side. This will give you an idea of the ‘hottest’ winning numbers.

Furthermore, the game allows you to place bets as low as €0.10 or you can go right up to €1,000. Plus, you can bet on multiple selections if you want to increase your odds or if you want to try your own Dream Catcher strategy. Speaking of betting on multiple selections, you also have a “bet on all” button just in case you are strapped for time and want to place a quick bet.

Last but not least, on the left-hand side, you will see all the winners and the amounts they have won after each round. This includes the total number of players, as well as the total award they earned. This shows a lot of transparency and can only serve to boost the game’s overall quality.

Play Dream Catcher at online casinos

Being designed and offered by Evolution, the majority of top online casinos will have Dream Catcher in their rosters. You will most likely find it in the operator’s Live Casino section. Otherwise, you can simply go ahead and use a search bar functionality for quickness.

Being such a popular game, even though there is no specific Dream Catcher Bonus at online casinos, sometimes Evolution offers bonuses on some of the games. This is especially the case on TV-style game show titles like Dream Catcher. Some operators also tend to offer all sorts of themed or related tournaments for live games, which is always a good thing for the player.

All in all, regardless of where you choose to play Dream Catcher, you will encounter the same fun and quality game. Easy to understand, enjoyable to play, and has the potential for really high payouts.
