To start playing, one must use the button with a big white pointer. A single click on it will trigger the 5x8 layout. You can use the icons next to the pointer to regulate the size of your bet too. The Aztec Twist slot lets players use bets as low as €0.20 and as high as €100. There are over 10 other options between these two values.
To use the auto-play feature, click on the auto-play button next to the white pointer. Players can choose between 10 and 1000 automated spins. There’s also an advanced settings tab. When users click on the three white lines, they will reveal a few other options. There, they can regulate sound and music. They can also speed up the animations or read more about the symbols and payouts.

This time, there are ten standard symbols on the payout table. The lowest paying standard symbols come in the shape of rocks with different artworks on them. There’s one that looks like a blue square, another one in the shape of a purple circle, and so on. You will need five or more identical symbols on adjacent positions (vertically or horizontally) to win prizes. Five or six matching rocks like this will provide 0.1 times your bet. Seven or eight deliver 0.3 times the bet. Next, 9 or 10, 11 or 12, 13 or 14, between 15 and 20, and over 21 identical rocks in a cluster will deliver 0.5, 2, 5, 10, or 15 times the total bet.
The other five standard symbols look like tribal masks in blue, green, purple, red, and orange. Like in the case on the rocks with artworks, they also provide the same prizes. Five or six matching masks will deliver 0.5 times your total bet. Your wager will be multiplied by 1 if you hit 7 or 8 identical masks in a cluster. 9 or 10 of them will multiply that wager by 2. Also, 11 or 12, 13 or 14, between 15 and 20, and over 21 masks of the same type in clusters will provide 4, 10, 20, or 40 times the total bet. Players can also find a scatter and a wild icon, but they are not associated with cash wins.
Users should expect a few Aztec Twist bonus features. For starters, if they get a full row of identical symbols in the base game, that row and other rows that form part of the same winning cluster will stay in their places. Then, players get re-spins until the winning cluster can’t expand. That’s when you will get paid. Keep in mind that rows displaying identical symbols will reveal random multipliers (between 2 and 5). Once the feature is finished, the multiplier value will be multiplied by the win amount for that specific cluster.
We also have the sun symbol that acts like a scatter icon here. When a user lands three of these symbols anywhere in view, they will launch a round of 8 Aztec Twist free spins. There will be two cylinders over the grid during free spins and an extra special Golden Mask symbol that may show up on each free spin. This mask has been split up into eight sections. To activate the full Golden Mask, you’ll have to hit a full row on every reel. Whenever you hit a full row of this mask, you will get 2 more free spins, and the left cylinder will start spinning. This cylinder will bring multipliers for the wins.
This release by Hacksaw Gaming has a wild icon in the shape of a hand too. It counts as any standard symbol. For an additional bet, players can activate the free spins mode instantly.
