How to play

The Battleship slot does not have any reels, rows, or paylines, only its unique gameplay. One of the best parts of this slot is that it can only be played with two people so that you can play against a real person or the computer. This makes the game more engaging. The game's basis is that you and your enemy have five warships each, and you try to make each other's ships sink.

The first part of this process is ship placement. In this stage, you will place the ships on the different grids, which makes up the playing area – i.e., the ocean. This starts with the smallest ship taking up one grid to bigger vessels to take up more and more grids. The ship can be horizontal or vertical too. The ship placement is turn-by-turn, but you won't see where your opponent placed their boats and vice versa.

After this, we have the shooting projectiles stage. Once you and your opponents have placed your ships, you use your mouse to click on any of the enemy's grids to guess where they set their boats. You won't see where the ships are, so you combine strategy with luck. If you get the position right, you will see a skull in the position, but if not, you will see X. This is also turn-by-turn.

Once a ship fully sinks, it will be visible to both players. Below the playing area, you will see an overview of ships that counts how many have sunk. The player that loses all their ships first will lose. If you successfully sink all the enemy ships, you get the payout.

Symbols and payouts

There are no symbols to look out for when playing the Battleship slot. Since the game is different from what most players are used to, the game does not have symbols to land in a winning combination.

The only symbols you will see are the ships of different sizes, skulls, and X. But they are part of the gameplay and don't unlock any bonuses or give any separate payouts. Note that the minimum and maximum bets for this game are €1 and €100 respectively.

Best Battleship bonus features
