Big Red is a game with a 5x3-reel layout featuring only five paylines. The paylines are unfixed but despite that fact, the bet range isn't the most flexible. Reason being that it doesn't cover all the preferences of high-rollers. But, at the least, players can bet a minimum of 1 cent. The max, on the other hand, is €100. Before you set your bet though, it's a nice idea to check out the demo mode first. 

In there, you can get yourself familiar with all the in-game features. This includes the likes of auto-play (up to 100 spins) and sound buttons. As for the symbols to expect, the Wild and Scatter take the cake. Close seconds are the Fox, Crocodile, Coyote, and other animals. As usual, playing card symbols represent the last tier, and thus, are the least valuable. 

Finally, as is the norm for all Aristocrat titles, Big Red features a special gamble bet. It only activates after a win, but it allows you to double, quadruple, or lose your bet. You have to correctly predict whether the game is red or black, or a specific suit (has the highest rewards). 

Best Big Red Slot bonus feature

Big Red's bonus rounds are triggered by the Wild and Scatter symbols. With the first one, it's represented by the Kangaroo symbol. As it's a Wild, it can substitute for any other symbol in the game to form winning combos. The exception to this rule is the Scatter symbol. Now, keep this in mind—Kangaroos only appear on the second, third, and fourth reels.

To activate the bonus round, you'll have to hit one or more Wild symbols on any of the winning paylines. Doing so rewards you with five free spins and a 2x multiplier throughout the bonus round. 

The Scatter, on the other hand, is represented by the Tree. It can appear on any reel, and during both the normal and free spins round. If it appears in the latter, you'll be given another five free spins. In total, you can get up to 255 free spins.
