The Christmas Fortune slot has a really simple design with easy gameplay mechanics. RubyPlay has not really pushed the limits from a visual perspective, with the slot looking like most other Christmas-themed titles. 

The gameplay unfolds on a 5x3 grid with 50 paylines. To start the game, you will need to select your stake using the arrows under the reels. The minimum wage in the slot is €0.20, while the maximum is €30. This is the kind of range that is not likely to excite too many players, with higher rollers, in particular, being put off. 

The slot also features all of the standard features including an adjustable autospin feature that lets you take up to 500 spins, and a turbo mode to help speed the action up a little bit. 

Symbols and Payouts 

There are not many big wins to be had in the base game of the Christmas Fortune Slot. The highest paying symbols in the game are the reindeer and the stack of presents. These pay out 1.5x your stake for combos of five, followed by 0.5x for four, and 0.15x for three. 

Next up are the train and the drum, which pay 1x your total stake for five. The Ace and King are the highest paying royal symbols and they pay 0.5x for combos of five. Finally, the Queen, Jack, and 10 pay 0.4x for five, 0.15x for four, and 0.05x for three. 

The main symbols are not the focus in the game though. There are two types of baubles that players will want to collect - the yellow jackpot symbol and the red super jackpot symbol, with the latter substituting for the former when it lands on the reels. These won’t pay out in the base game though. 

Best Christmas Fortune Bonus Feature

There is one main Christmas Fortune bonus round and that’s the Jackpot Mania feature. This feature triggers with six and more jackpot symbols on the screen at one time. 

While there are no Christmas Fortune free spins on offer, the round does provide players with three re-spins. All jackpot symbols will hold in place and the reels will spin. During the round, if any jackpot or prize symbols land, then the game resets to three re-spins. 

When the round is finished, all winnings are paid out. Any corresponding jackpot prizes are paid as well. If you fill all of the positions with the jackpot symbols, then you will win the grand jackpot, which pays out 5,000x your total prize. 

During the base game, all jackpot and super jackpot symbols are collected. The more you collect, the more chance you have of landing a super jackpot payout. Once the Jackpot Mania feature has taken place, this resets to zero.
