How to play

The game has three reels, three rows, and eight fixed paylines. In addition, there is a free square on the left side of the game where you can select from a variety of symbols before each spin. We’ll discuss how that plays in the Bomb bonus feature later. The minimum bet you can place is €0.08 (1 line bet x 8 lines / 100). The maximum bet is €80 (1,000 line bet x 8 lines / 100). Most wins in this game will be paid out according to your bet per line, so it’s important to keep track of that number.

To change your wager, you’ll choose a line bet between 1 and 1,000 credits (€0.01 and €10). As you do, you’ll notice the pay scale for the Bomb feature changes, too. If you want to customize your gameplay experience, there are a couple of ways to do so. You can turn on Turbospin for faster rounds. You can also toggle Autoplay on, which will run continuously until you press the button again.

Symbols and payouts

There are quite a few country western symbols in this game, and they follow a straightforward pay scale. The symbols include treasure chests, 7s, BARS, barrels, boots, hats, sheriff badges, guns, and horses. Most wins only occur if you spin three symbols in a row. The exceptions to this rule are the treasure chest symbols, which payout even if you only land one or two on the reels. The pay table provided by the game is accurate for a line bet of one. There’s also a scale showing the prize if you land a single symbol in all nine positions on the board.

The most valuable of these is the horse, which pays 20,000x your line bet. This trails down to 1,000x your bet per line for landing nine 7s. The badges have a more complex paying system. Badges automatically payout for three or more, regardless of whether they form lines. Additionally, spinning four or more badges will trigger the Cowboy free spins feature, which gives you 20 free games. The biggest win in the game comes from the Bomb feature and this awards you a 100,000x multiplier, as we discuss next.

Best Cowboy bonus feature

The best Cowboy bonus feature is the Bomb feature. As we mentioned earlier, there’s a pay scale to the left of the reels that depicts possible payouts from the feature. Since you can adjust the line bet up to €10, that raises the maximum payout from the feature to €1,000,000. When playing with the minimum bet, the lowest payout here is €10. You’ll need to land symbols in specific patterns to trigger this win.

You’ll also have to predict the correct symbol in the free square on the left-hand side. The top prize is only awarded for landing 10 identical icons – nine on the reels and one in the free position. The lowest prize is for landing six identical icons, with five on the reels and one in the free positions. One option is to land five symbols or more in a checkerboard pattern. The other is to land symbols in the shape of a cross. The boots, hat, guns, horse, and badge symbols all qualify for forming these unique patterns.  

RTP & volatility

The Cowboy RTP and volatility has not been published at this time. From our experience, this is possibly a low volatility slot. We won small prizes on roughly half of the spins, which kept the bankroll steady. We also enjoyed a couple of high-value wins during gameplay, but these were much less frequent.
