A detective with an afro and some binoculars is next, paying 5x for five, with his partner wearing sunglasses next up with a 4x payout for the same amount. Like in the original Hotline game, the hotline is the key to securing the biggest wins in the game. The main Hotline 2 bonus feature is the expanding wild. This happens when you land a wild symbol on the hotline or hotlines. The wilds will then expand to cover the reel. Sadly, there is no re-spins bonus in this game like the first. 

However, the Hotline 2 bonus spins are a significant improvement from the first game. The round is triggered by landing three or more scatters. This will reward seven spins. During the round, any wilds that land on reels 2-4 will expand the reel and add an extra row above it. This can go up to six spaces high. If a hotline reel reaches six, then it will reward two extra spins. If a non-hotline reel fills up, it will reward just one.
