How to play

Although the background is a dense forest, you wouldn’t get lost while maneuvering through the gameplay. The King Kong slot uses a typical slot structure with five reels and three rows. There are 243 ways to win, thereby giving you a slight advantage over conventional slots with pay lines. The control panel rests below the reels, from where you can set the gameplay to your choices. Use the “+” and “-” buttons below the Bet field to adjust the stake values between €0.25 and €100 per game.

If you wish to play manually, then press the green Spin button before every game. Tapping and holding the button will activate the Autoplay function. Pressing the Stop icon during the automatic spins halts the mode. View the game rules, line patterns, and the symbol payouts from the Paytable button. The Menu icon gives you access to the advanced game options.

Symbols and payouts

Eight symbols make up the regular lineup in the King Kong video slot. As usual, you can view them alongside their corresponding payouts from the Paytable section. Since the slot uses 243 ways to win, the winning combinations will pay through any reel positions. But, they must run from the left to right direction and on consecutive reels. All coinciding wins will add together. Now that you’re aware of the payout rules, let’s look at the various symbols available.

The lowest-value icons are the playing card royals, Js to As. Three to five of a kind have potential wins of between 3x to 35x the bet per line. The Coconuts, Bananas, and Star Fruits produce the medium payouts. Again, at least three of each reward from 8x to 80x the line stake. Meanwhile, the Watermelon is the most valuable icon that can deliver up to 100 credits for up to five of the same. 

Even if the standard payouts aren’t very decent, you can still enjoy various special symbols. The Purple Wild appears on reel three only to substitute for all regular icons. The Special 1 and Special 2 gorilla images launch the Angry King Kong feature.

Best King Kong bonus feature

There aren’t any usual features, such as King Kong free spins in this August Gaming release. But, the available modes are unique and decent enough to boost your experience and wins. Now, the reels turn in a Toppling fashion. So, symbols involved in a winning combo will disappear. Any remaining icons on the reels will drop accordingly, creating room for new symbols dropping from the top. In such a mechanism, there’s always a chance for landing more than one win per spin.

If there’s no further win possible, the Angry King Kong activates. The half and full gorillas shout and blast away symbols one and two positions from them in that order. Then, new icons will drop from above and activate the Toppling Reels again.

RTP & Volatility

Sadly, the game supplier doesn’t make both the King Kong RTP and volatility rates public. The absence of this information makes it daunting for punters to set expectations. Even so, with high bet limits, this reel machine is ideal for medium and high rollers.
