How to play

Leprechaun Rama is a simple and fun slot game to play. It features five slot reels, and five rows in each reel. As mentioned, it uses match-three gameplay. This means that if you match three of the same symbols in an adjacent configuration, you win, and those symbols disappear. In their place, new symbols drop down which can lead to further wins.

For the bet value, you can change the coin value, and the step value (or paylines). The coin value can be changed from 0.01 to 2.00, whilst the step level can be changed from 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25. As a result, the minimum bet value is €0.05, and the maximum bet is €50.

There is also a useful autoplay feature, however, it cannot be configured. Simply press the auto spin button and the game will play 10 spins automatically for you.

Symbols and payouts

Leprechaun Rama has a basic paytable with seven basic symbols. These symbols are an acorn, a red heart, a jug of whiskey, 9, 3, a clover, and a horseshoe. Each symbol has exactly the same value and as opposed to a winning number of symbols, the payout is based on how many bubbles you pop of the same type. This number ranges from a minimum of 3, to a maximum of 25.

As a result, the minimum payout multiplier is 1x for three popped bubbles of the same type. Alternatively, the maximum payout multiplier is 2,500x for 25 popped bubbles of the same type. For a winning combination to be valid, all the symbols must be touching in an adjacent configuration.

There are also three different pots of gold symbols - a green pot, a silver pot, and a gold pot. When one of these symbols lands on the reels, a percentage of your bet is added to the bonus pot. Green adds 20%, silver adds 40%, and gold adds 60%. The bonus funds and mechanisms are explained below.

Also, there are two types of key symbols - a gold and silver key. When these appear, they add points to the bonus meter. The points added are based on your step value and the key color. For example, at the maximum step level of 25, the gold key awards 25 points.

The Leprechaun Rama bonus feature is a special meter that builds up and unlocks new levels. As mentioned above, the bar is filled with gold and silver keys, and pots of gold. At 500 points, you unlock the fairy’s forest level. At 1,000 points, the rancher’s riches level. Lastly, at 1,500 points, you unlock the amazing end of the rainbow level.

Each level offers different rewards. The fairy forest level converts bubbles to make more winning combinations. Alternatively, the rancher’s riches level converts bubbles to wild symbols that have a 2x multiplier!

The end of the rainbow level is the maximum possible reward. Here you can collect your pot of gold that has been building up as you spin. Alternatively, you can choose to gamble it and try to double the pot and your winnings! This is a simple guessing game and you have a 50/50 chance to guess which hand the leprechaun is holding the gold coin in!

RTP & volatility

The Leprechaun Rama RTP is 95.06% which is decent and just at the bottom end of the currency industry average of between 95-96%. In terms of volatility, Espresso Games has decided to not make this information public. However, after trying out the game, we would say that it probably has low volatility. As a result, you can expect to win often. However, these wins will generally be of small value, and you will not get many jackpot payouts.
