How to play

Mystery Stacks has five reels and three rows in each real. At the top of the game, you can see a scrolling ticker that explains different features of the game. At the bottom, are the game controls and a box showing your previous win.

The bet value can be changed using the button on the left-hand side. You can set the value from €0.10 to a maximum of €1,000. This means that high rollers can enjoy this game with a large bankroll – and it’s just as appealing to those on more modest budgets too.

There is also an autoplay feature. If you click this button, you can select auto spins from 10 to 100. Also, you can select a loss limit and a single win limit. The game has 10 paylines and these cannot be changed.

Symbols and payouts

Mystery Stacks slot has nine symbols in its paytable. These are all traditional symbols that you would find on an old-school slot machine or fruit machine. However, the graphics are updated and they look pretty cool in our opinion. The symbols are cherries, a lemon, an orange, a plum, a melon, a single BAR, a double BAR, a triple BAR, and the golden bell.

Of these symbols, the cherries have the lowest payout. For 5x of this symbol, you get a multiplier of 100x based on the bet per line. Next, we have the lemon and orange which also have the same 10x multiplier. Of the fruits, the melon and plum give the highest multiplier of 200x for 5x symbols based on the bet per line.

However, the highest paying symbol in the game is the golden bell. If you manage to get 5x of this symbol, you get a cool multiplier of 500x based on the bet per line! Note that this game does not have any special symbols, such as wilds or scatters.

Best Mystery Stacks bonus feature

Unfortunately, you cannot win any Mystery Stacks free spins. The game is simple and it only has one Mystery Stacks bonus feature. These are the Mystery Coins. There are two coins – the Mystery Coin, and the Mega Coin. The former can appear randomly. It does not have a payout or value. Instead, it flips to reveal one of the symbols from the paytable. This can result in some fantastic winning combinations.

Alternatively, there is the Mega Coin. This coin covers 3 reels and 3x rows – or 9 symbols in total. It can partially appear on the reels or fully. If it partially appears, it flips and reveals standard symbols like the Mystery Coin. If it lands fully on the reels, you are guaranteed a win – nice!  This is because all the flipped symbols will be the same – this holds true for both the mystery coin and mega coin. For example, if you got 3x Mystery Coins, they would all flip to reveal the same symbol, such as the cherries. 

RTP & volatility

Silverback Gaming has created a fun video slot that has a decent RTP. The Mystery Stacks RTP is 95%. This is on the lower side of the benchmark average of 96%. However, it is still on par with what we would expect for this type of game.

The volatility of this game is at a medium level. Plus, you can expect the largest jackpot wins from the mystery coin and the mega coin bonuses if you’re lucky enough to get them.
