How to play

There’s nothing new about the matrix of the Octagon Gem slot. You can expect the same old set with five reels, 20 paylines, and three rows per reel. Hitting the blue play button under the matrix will make the reels start moving. On the left side of the button, you can see the value of your bet per line. Feel free to adjust it whenever you want. Symbols and payouts

The payout table and the standard symbols found on it are closely related to the name of the game. So, all seven standard symbols that you can hit on the reels come in the shape of gemstones. They have different colors and forms. The low-paying ones look like grey, blue and pink gems. The lowest paying among them is the grey gem that delivers 10, 20, or 40 times your line bet for three, four, or five gems like this respectively. Keep in mind that all gemstones pay when you get three, four, or more of them on a single line. Five blue gems promise 50 times your line bet while five pink gems deliver 60 times your line bet.

These gems are followed by a dark green gem and a red gem. Five of them on a line will provide 150 or 200 times the line bet respectively. Then we have the light green gem with a maximum prize of 500 times your line bet. Finally, the white diamond pays 30, 250, or 1,000 times your line bet for three, four, or five of them on a payline. The scatter icon can provide payouts too. Land three, four, or five of them anywhere on the reels to get 40 times your total bet.

Now, when it comes to Octagon Gem bonus features, we have a couple of them. We’ll start with the Octagon Gem free spins round. Hitting at least three scatter icons in the shape of carts loaded with gems anywhere on the matrix will provide 10 free spins. Next, there’s a wild icon that looks like a sun made of yellow gems. This sun can replace any standard symbol as long as it can help players complete winning combos. It can show up on the middle three reels only. When a wild icon shows up on the central row, it will activate the octagon gem feature. The wild icon will start pointing to the eight symbols around it. They will start rotating and stop once the maximum winning combination is achieved.
