How to play

With 25 paylines, five reels, and three rows, the Pirates Quest slot machine offers simple gameplay for both newbies and experienced gamblers. You can choose between a €0.25 and €125 betting range, available to a wide range of players. 

The number of paylines is fixed, and you will be awarded a win when you have matching symbols on adjacent reels starting from the first left column. Each spin you make comes at a cost, and this consists of the initial bet multiplied by the 25 paylines.

When you land a win, the number of symbols and the type of symbol you landed will determine the payout, based on the paytable. You can also land more than one win simultaneously.

Symbols and payouts

GONG Gaming Technologies did a brilliant job designing the icons of the Pirates Quest slot. The symbols don't only stand out against the plain reels but also give you payouts when you have three or more symbols across the playing grid. Some special symbols include Free Spins and Wilds, and they open the doors to bigger bonuses.

If you want to land the highest pay possible, you need five Wild symbols on a single payline. This combination will give you 400x the initial bet.

After this, the other symbols offer way lower payouts. These include the Pirate, which offers 80x the initial bet for five matching symbols across the reels.

Next are the Parrot and the Cannon, and they will reward you with 28x the initial bet. The Pirate's Hat and the Bottle of Alcohol will give you 20x the initial bet for five matching symbols on the grid.

There are also some lower payouts you can land, like the Ace and King offering 16x for five of a kind. Queen and Jack will give 9.6x and finally, 10 and 9 offer 4.8x the initial bet, all for five symbols of a kind.

Best Pirates Quest bonus feature

There's nothing more exciting than bonus features while you spin the reels on a slot. The Pirates Quest bonus features start with the Wild, creating winning combinations on their own or with a set of identical symbols. The Wild also substitutes for all symbols, except the Ship and the Free Spins bonuses that open bonuses.

Next is the Map Feature, only available in the Base Round. It is used to track the multipliers you will get during Free spins. It can increase up to 10x your wins and moves up each time a Ship symbol lands on the reels. The Ship symbol will then turn into a free spins icon.

If you have three, four, or five Free Spins symbols appear on the screen, you unlock the Pirates Quest Free Spins round. You get ten free spins to play with.
