How to play

The Reel Sheriff slot features five reels, three rows, and 20 fixed paylines. You cannot change the number of paylines as you play the game, but you can adjust your bet level. To land wins, you have to spin the reels. Then, the symbols will turn and if you land the same symbols on any of the 20 paylines, you win the round.

You can land three or more symbols on these paylines and they can run from the leftmost reel to the right and the rightmost reel to the left. The exception to this is the scatter, which can pay anywhere on the reels. You can also spin the reels with the spin button or the autoplay option right beside it.

Before you spin the reels, you can select the betting range first. You can place your total bet between €0.20 and €100, and all payouts are multiplied by the total bet.

Symbols and payouts

The symbols you will see while playing the Reel Sheriff slot include special symbols, plus high- and low-valued symbols. The special symbols are the male sheriff and the female bandit. They don’t offer any separate rewards but they do unlock bonuses – we will explore these in the next section.

The highest paying symbol is the sheriff badge, with a reward of 25x, 8x, and 1x your bet for landing five, four, and three symbols on any of the paylines. Next is the sack of money, offering 20x, 5x, and 0.8x your bet.

The two guns symbol will give you 15x, 4x, and 0.8x your bet. There are horseshoe and skull symbols, each with the same rewards of 10x, 3x, and 0.6x your bet for five, four, and three symbols of a kind.

The Reel Sheriff slot also has symbols with low payouts. The A and K symbols will give the same payouts of 5x, 1x, and 0.4x your bet for landing five, four, and three symbols across the reels.

Finally, the Q, J, and 10 symbols will give you 3x, 0.6x, and 0.2x your total bet when you hit five, four, and three symbols of a kind. There is no Reel Sheriff free spins symbol here.

Best Reel Sheriff bonus features

There are different Reel Sheriff Bonus features that will keep you hooked to the game from start to finish. For one, the slot has two wilds; the sheriff wild and the bandit wild. The two wild symbols can stand in for other symbols on the reels except for the mystery symbol. It also triggers respins.

The sheriff wild symbol only appears on the first reel and will move one place to the right every time the reels respin. Then, the bandit wild symbol only lands on the fifth reel and will move one place to the left with every respin. The respins end whenever there are no more wilds on the reels.

If the sheriff and bandit symbols land on the first and fifth reels with one spin, they combine to form the mystery symbol. This is the Mystery Win feature and acts as the wild to stand in for other symbols. The payline wins will be added together and then the mystery symbol pays a random mystery win anywhere on the reels. You can win up to 50x your bet.

There’s also a gamble feature triggered at the end of each winning round. If you win a round, you can double it with the gamble feature, but this is optional.

RTP and volatility

The Reel Sheriff RTP is set at 94.86% (but can vary between 87.85% and 98.17%). Although this is slightly below the average for most online slots, the game still offers decent wins. It also has medium level volatility, which means you can enjoy frequent and decent sized wins.
