Hop from one island to another and look for treasures with a group of seasoned pirates.

How to Play Shifting Seas slot

Move the cursor (or finger if you are playing on your mobile device) to the lower-right corner and press the green circle with two golden arrows to start a round in the Shifting Seas slot game. You can automate the gameplay by pressing the auto-play icon and choosing the number of rounds and the size of your bet. Players can choose from several values regarding the stake size – from €0.1 to €100.

Pressing the three lines in the upper-right corner will lead you to the sound and game settings. Right below it is the trophy that reveals that game’s payout table. You can also use the speaker to activate or deactivate audio.

Symbols and Payouts

The Shifting Seas slot has many symbols, and eleven of them act as regular icons. Even though they have a unique appearance, they work in the same way – you must land three to six of the same kind on adjacent reels to get a winning combo and receive a prize. Below, we’ll describe the symbols and payouts in our Shifting Seas slot review.

So, the first six regular icons look like playing card values. They begin with a 9 and end with an Ace and provide rewards worth 0.1 to 0.8 times your total stake. Of course, you can expect more from the next symbol on the list – the Blue Parrot – that pays 0.4 to 1 time your stake. The total bet is multiplied by 0.4 to 1.2 times when the combo includes Pink Pirates. Also, the dark-skinned female Pirate with a Knife between her teeth will help you get 0.4 to 1.4 times the bet. Then there is the One-Eyed Purple Pirate that delivers rewards worth 0.5 to 1.8 times your stake. Also, the Treasure Chest with a Red Gem is here to help you get 1 to 5 times the total bet.

The rest of the icons (the ones with special properties) can deliver 5 times your bet.

Best Shifting Seas Bonus Feature

Let’s start this section with a fact – there are multiple exciting Shifting Seas bonus features. For example, after every win (and every Boost Shift), the rightmost reel disappears, and a new one appears in the leftmost position. Additionally, symbols in winning combos are removed, and new (or existing) ones take their positions. They fall from above to cover the gaps, and this feature is known as Avalanche Feature.

The Golden W is a Wild icon that replaces all regular symbols in this game. Randomly, the Wild Surge Feature is activated, and up to three icons on any reel are turned into Wilds. The Symbol Rush Feature works similarly. It’s also a randomly triggered feature that turns four to eight icons on the matrix into new matching icons. We should also mention the Boost Shift feature that delivers an additional reel shift that lets a brand new reel be attached to the leftmost position of the grid.

On the other hand, the Special Wild feature icon (Skull) contributing to a winning combo or moved out of the game area will trigger the corresponding Special Wild mode (Wild Surge, Symbol Rush, or Boost Shift).

Furthermore, the Pirate Ship is a Bonus icon, and when a Shift Win removes it from the grid, you’ll access the Bonus game, which includes 8 Shifting Seas free spins. Doing the same thing during this mode will provide four additional free spins. During the bonus game, you can activate the Wild Reel feature. In the beginning, it shows up at reel one but moves one position to the right with every Shift Win. This Wild Reel comes with a multiplier that starts with 1x.

RTP & Volatility

We left two things about the technical side of this game for the end of our Shifting Seas slot review. The Shifting Seas RTP is 96.15%, and this is a high volatility release.
