How to play

This game is highly unusual, much like the other slots in Green Jade’s collection. There are no reels, no rows, and no paylines. Bets are placed just once per round and determine the maximum prizes you qualify for. Your total stake ranges from €1 to €20 per round. There are a handful of customization options for the music, sound effects, and weather. You can also track your game history to see how you’ve improved.

Instead of a slot grid, you’ll see a top-down view of an enemy city. The tank moves forward slowly, but it never stops or changes course. It fires ammunition constantly, too. Your job is to direct where that firepower lands. The city is filled with buildings marked with different numbers – these represent how many hits it will take to destroy them. The game ends when one of three things happens: your tank takes too much damage, you pass a building without destroying it, or you successfully clear the town.

Symbols and payouts

Winning prizes in this game is a combination of luck and skill. A random number generator will pre-determine the maximum amount of money you can win in each round. This value is split between six banks in each city. Some banks may contain 0%, 20%, or 40% of the total potential win. When you’re placing your bet on the main screen before each round, you’ll be shown the maximum prize you qualify for. This value will be 10,000x your total stake. Each round concludes by comparing the possible winnings for the round with what you actually won.

To collect all your winnings, you need to destroy each of the six banks successfully. The game will be cut short if you pass buildings that are still standing or take too much enemy fire, so be careful and use your firing skills. There’s a free spins bonus round that can be triggered at random at a rate of 9.05% -- roughly a one in ten chance. During this round, you’ll be presented with six mystery buildings. Use your tank to blow up your preferred building for a payout worth up to 2,000x your total wager.

Best Spoils of War bonus feature

The best Spoils of War bonus feature is called the Skill Balance Pot. This pot is similar to a progressive jackpot pool, but it’s allocated according to your stake in each game and the level of skill you demonstrate. For example, every player who bets €5 per game will be in a prize pool, whereas players who bet €10 will be a different one. The Skill Balance Pot is filled with the winnings that players fail to collect each round.

For example, if you collect €100 out of €300 potential winnings, then €200 is added to the Skill Balance Pot. Every player has a chance to collect some or all of their tiered Pot every time they enter the game. These prizes are awarded on top of the winnings distributed throughout the banks. And, of course, your chance of winning this mystery surprise will depend on your level of skill.

RTP & volatility

The Spoils of War RTP is set to 92.98%. This is significantly lower than the average RTP of 95% seen across most video slots. At the same time, this game is not like most video slots. Players may be incentivized to take the low odds for the opportunity to enjoy a different gaming experience. This game has unknown volatility.
