Anyway, the title keeps things very basic - with the reels set to a dark grey backdrop that simply displays the casino’s game. It makes the gameplay very easy as there is very little to distract you. The slot has five reels and has a generous 100 paylines. 

The stake button is down the bottom of the reels and players can use the +/- to choose. The game is designed for players on a smaller budget or who are using cryptocurrencies - the demo version only allows for spins from €0.20 to €15. Located next to the spin button is an auto-play option that allows you to set the game to take a set amount of spins for you. You will also notice that whenever you are lucky enough to score a win, the game will present you with two different buttons next to the spin one - a gamble button, which will trigger the gamble round, and a collect button, which will collect your winnings instead. 

Symbols and payouts

Stake Million isn’t preoccupied with immersive graphics or a complex theme. It keeps things very simple - sticking with the basic symbols you would expect to find on any retro or one-armed bandit-inspired title. 

The lower paying symbols in the game are fruit symbols including cherries, a melon, an orange, and a plum - these will all pay out 100x line bet for five of a kind and 10x for three. Next up is a watermelon which offers a 200x payout for five and 20 for three. A bunch of grapes and a horseshoe are the second highest paying symbols, paying out 500x for five and 30x for three. Finally, the highest paying symbol is the Stake Casino logo which pays out an impressive 3,000x your line bet.  

Best Stake Million bonus feature

BGaming has kept things relatively simple with the Stake Million slot. The game offers just a small handful of bonus features, none of which are particularly innovative or game-changing. 

The first Stake Million bonus round you are likely to encounter is the gamble round. This occurs whenever you are lucky enough to secure a win. You will be presented with the opportunity to gamble your winnings in a double or nothing scenario. If you choose to take this option, you will be presented with a face-down card and you will have to guess whether it’s red or black or the correct suit. Choose correctly and you will win, choose wrong and you will lose - it’s that simple. Of course, this feature is designed to get you to risk your winnings so always operate with caution when you are presented with it. 

The other bonuses are all in the base game. There is no Stake Million free spins round on offer, but there is a scatter symbol that can lead to bonus payouts. Two different types of scatters can be found in the game and you will need to score three of them to get a win. The Diamond scatter will pay out regardless of where it lands, while the Bell scatter will only pay out for reels 1, 3, and 5. 

As well as this, there are also some modifiers in the game too. An expanding wild symbol can lead to some generous payouts if you are lucky, and there are also stacked symbols that can cover between 3-8 places on the reels as well. 

While none of these features are particularly groundbreaking, and the slot could definitely benefit from some free spins - they still enhance the gameplay and provide some winning opportunities. 

RTP & volatility

The Stake Million RTP is listed as 97.1% on the Stake Casino website, which is nice and high. There is no information listed on the site regarding the volatility of the title but the high RTP is likely to be attractive for players.
