Tirol Fest consists of six reels across four rows. The game features 50 paylines and players can choose to play with 1, 10, 20, 30, or the full 50 activated. Bets are made using five buttons with pre-set coin amounts that vary depending on how many paylines you activate. As the amount of activated paylines increase, so too do the minimum and maximum allowable bet amount, ranging from $0.01 to $10 On the left of your betting options are some handy buttons that allow you to check out the game rules, use the auto-play feature or view the game in full-screen mode.
This video slot game is suitable for both newer and more advanced players. It carries many of the same mechanics of traditional slots, but packs in quite a lot of them to keep it fresh.
Standard symbols are represented by card faces; J, Q, K and A. The coin payouts of these range from 2 to 30. All symbols pay out more when more are matched together in a single spin. J and Q symbols payout at 2, 6, 10 and 25 coins, depending on whether 3,4,5 or 6 symbols are matched. K and A symbols pay slightly higher at a rate of 4, 10, 15 or 30 coins.
The higher paying symbols represent the theme much better with the likes of pretzels, beer steins and other recognizable Oktoberfest tropes. Pretzel symbols payout 5, 12, 20 or 40 coins. Stein symbols pay at a rate of 6, 15, 25 or 50 coins. Beer kegs on the other hand are set to 8, 20, 30 or 60 coins. The Harmonica symbols stay the same at 8 coins for three symbols but then increase to 25, 40 or 80 coins for more symbols. Lastly, there are the Bavarian Man and Bavarian Woman symbols. The payout for the woman is set to 10, 40, 50 and 100 coins. The man is the highest paying symbol at a rate of 15, 50, 100 or 250 coins.
Wilds are presented clearly on a sign in their respective symbols, while Scatters are represented by a symbol depicting a traditional Bavarian building. Line wins multiply your bet value on the winning line, while Scatter wins multiply your total bet value.
There are two Tirol Fest bonus features that we think players will be most excited about. First, there is the possibility to trigger 10 free spin rounds by landing four or more Scatter symbols. This comes with the above-mentioned Stacks Pay feature that multiplies the value of each symbol. Re-triggering this bonus feature will add a further five Tirol Fest free spins to your balance.
The highlight feature has got to be the jackpot that comes in four different levels. Each level is represented by a card suit, which you can also see at the top of the game screen next to constantly increasing numbers. These numbers represent the biggest wins on each level of the jackpot. A jackpot round is randomly triggered after winnings have been collected from a successful round. It is then up to the player to select from 12 face-down cards and try to get three matching symbols for a particular card suit. The jackpot amount awarded to the player will depend on the amount gathered after picking their last card.
The Tirol Fest RTP comes in at slightly higher than average 96.02%. This coupled with a medium volatility makes it suitable for those looking for a game that doesn’t necessarily favor one play style over another. You don’t have to just take our word for it though, as you can play the game in demo mode right here at GoodLuckMate.
