There are nine symbols that players will meet when playing the Under the Fifth Sun video slot. The highest two paying symbols are the two main Mayan characters. These payout 60x for combos of five, 6x for combos of four, 2x for combinations of three. Next up are two dragon heads, which pay out 8x for five, followed by the Ace and King which pay out 4x. The lowest paying symbols are the 10, Jack and Queen. These payout 1.2x for five, 0.6x for four, and 0.2x for three.

There is a solid selection of Under the Fifth Sun bonus features for players to get their hands on. The highest-paying one in the game is the bonus wheel feature. This is triggered when you manage to land three of the bonus wheel icons on your reels. These symbols will only appear on reels 1, 3, and 5. This is a wheel full of multipliers that players will get to spin once. The lowest they can score on this is 5x their total bet, while the highest is 100.  

The other main feature is a slightly convoluted free spins bonus. In order to trigger this, you need to land three of the wild symbols on your reels. You will then begin the round with one spin and a 1x multiplier. A snake-head symbol will then appear and will travel down some steps with multipliers. Wherever it stops, you will then receive some free spins with that multiplier. The highest multiplier available is 25x but you can only get 1-3 spins with this. You can get up to 10 Under the Fifth Sun free spins with a 2x multiplier.

The Under the Fifth Sun RTP is 95.52%, while the volatility of the slot is rated as 5/5. During our test play for this Under the Fifth Sun slot review, we found that wins did come along at a fairly consistent rate but we never managed to score the bonus wheel round.
