How to play

The Valhalla Gold video slot has a 5x3 layout but this can be expanded to 5x6 during the reel copy feature which is explained below. This game also has 25 paylines as standard, but this can be increased to 50. Payouts are based on the bet per line and winning symbols pay left to right.

To change the betting value, simply select the line bet from 0.01 to 1. This is multiplied by the 25x paylines to give your total bet value. Therefore, the min/max bets are €0.25 and €25 respectively.

The game also has a simple autoplay option where you can play 100 automatic spins.

Symbols and payouts

Valhalla Gold has 11 standard symbols and 2 bonus symbols. The standard symbols are different card suits and items from Viking history.

First, there are low-paying icons. These are the 10, J, Q, K, and Ace. The 10, J, and Queen all pay 5x for 3x symbols, and 30x for 5x symbols. The ace and king pay 40x for 5x symbols, and 5x for 3x symbols.

Next, are the Viking items. The horn pays 60x for 5x symbols, whilst the bow and arrows pay 75x for 5x symbols. Moving up we have the Viking carving which pays 75x for 5x icons, whilst the horned helmet has a multiplier of 100x for 5x icons. Finally, the ornate ax has a payout of 125x for 5x icons, and the hammer pays 150x for 5x icons. The payouts are based on the line bet. 

There is also a wild symbol which is a Viking queen. This appears on any reel and substitutes for everything else except the bonus symbol. It also has a maximum payout of 400x for 5x symbols. Lastly, there is the bonus symbol. This is used to activate the Valhalla Gold free spins and has a maximum payout of 25x for 5x symbols.

The top Valhalla Gold bonus feature is unlocked via the bonus symbol, 3 bonus symbols give 5 free spins, whilst 4 bonus symbols give 6 free spins. Finally, the top prize is 5 bonus symbols which give 8 free spins.
