As a “customer”, you’ll need elevator keys to access more exotic areas of the Win-O-Mart supermarket. Each floor has a different deal going on, whether it be a flash sale on popular products, extra deals on top merchandise, or a big Bonus Wheel reserved for the most loyal buyers. 

The theme is certainly unique, and the graphics and effects you’ll encounter on different floors are surprisingly good and far from conventional. 

Symbols & Payouts

Four minor symbols, four “products” as major symbols, and the mysterious Cashier represent the nine paying symbols in Win-O-Mart:

• Js, Qs, Ks, and As: 0.20x for three-of-a-kind, 0.40x for four, 1x for five;
• Cigarettes: 0.70x for three-of-a-kind, 2.50x for four, 6 for five; 
• Sandwiches: 0.80x for three-of-a-kind, 3x for four, 7.50x for five;
• Toilet Paper: 1x for three-of-a-kind, 4x for four, 10x for five;
• Pest Repellent: 1.20x for three-of-a-kind, 5x for four, 12.50x for five;
• Cashier: 2x for three-of-a-kind, 10x for four, 50x for five. 

There’s a huge gap between payout rates of minor and major symbols, which is especially important for certain bonus features since the latter can benefit from various boosts. 

There aren’t too many wagering options, but the betting range is decently versatile as it supports stakes from €0.10 to €50. Although jackpots aren’t featured in Win-O-Mart, you can win up to 10,000x per round, or €500,000 on max bet settings. 

Win-O-Mart Bonus Features

Win-O-Mart is super-rich in bonus features, but they’re all exclusively available in the bonus round. More specifically, each bonus mechanic is unique to the bonus “level” unless you’re lucky enough to grab 5 out of 5 elevator keys (or purchase the largest Bonus Bundle).

Free Spins

The only way to encounter any bonus features in Win-O-Mart is via Free Spins. Special rules are in play depending on how many elevator key scatters you’ve collected in a single spin, including:

• 3 Scatters: A level from 1 to 4 is randomly chosen, and you receive 5 free spins
• 4 Scatters: Same as 3, but retriggering the feature will always take you to a higher level
• 5 Scatters: Same as 4, but you’ll also awarded 1 extra free spin per level 

Landing additional scatter symbols will grant you +2 free spins, but only for the current round. Coins can appear on any symbols throughout the bonus round, and you’ll need to collect at least 5 before you run out of spins to progress to the next level. 

Level 1 - Expanding Wilds & Stacked Symbols

You’ll encounter huge bargains on the first floor. Wild symbols will expand to cover the entire reel whenever they appear, allowing you to snatch products more easily.  Additionally, all paying symbols have a chance of appearing in stacks. 

Level 2 - Symbols Gain Multipliers on Wins

The second floor is where top-quality products are kept under lock and key. Whenever you score a win, all matching symbols will receive a x10 boost to their standard pay rates. Subsequent wins with the same symbols will add an extra +10 multiplier, up to x50 (can’t go above even if you gain more free spins and score additional wins). 

Level 3 - Minor Symbols Are Removed

The most sought-after goods Win-O-Mart has in store are sheltered on the third floor. In this round, you won’t encounter any Js, Qs, Ks, and As, meaning that you’ll get to take as many cigarette packs, sandwiches, paper rolls, and repellents home. 

The Cashier will also leave the base floor to help you choose your products, and he’s the top-paying symbol with x50 for combos of five. 

Level 4 - Loyalty Wheel & Wheel Upgrades

The Win-O-Mart’s paytable purposefully “omitted” to tell us what’s behind the mysterious fourth-floor door, and there’s a good reason for this - only the most loyal customers have the privilege of spinning the mighty Wheel for a chance of scoring up to 5,000x as an instant prize. 

This bonus round begins as every other - you’ll receive 5 free spins, collect coins for level progression, and gain extra spins for every new scatter you collect. A new symbol will be introduced to the pool called “Wheel Upgrade”. Whenever this symbol lands, a portion of the Bonus Wheel will turn gold, and affected prizes will be doubled. 

The “main” prize starts at 1,000x and increases by +1,000 for every upgrade collected. Multiple wheel upgrades can be drawn on any spin. 

You’ll get to spin the wheel as soon as the round ends if you collect 4 or fewer coins. If you grab all 5, the Wheel will be spun at the end of Level 5. 

Level 5 - “The Full Experience”

A big question mark with ineligible text is all the info you’ll find on the last bonus floor in Win-O-Mart’s paytable. I had to grind for quite some time before I finally managed to reach this coveted bonus, and it was well worth the effort. 

“The Full Experience” Level activates all bonus features in Win-O-Mart at the same time. Wilds will expand, symbols will gain multipliers on wins, minor symbols will be removed, and you’ll spin the wheel when the round ends.

How to Win at Win-O-Mart

One of the most peculiar things about Win-O-Mart is that it rocks 26 paylines, including the standard 25 betways plus the one connecting the bottom-most flanks and the central three cells in the fourth row. Symbols pay from left to right and winning combinations must consist of at least three or more symbols of the same category.

Even though this game might sound like a simple slot, Win-O-Mart has been rated 5/5 on the volatility scale by Print Studios. Its theoretical return-to-player score is an impressive 96.20% if you’re playing it regularly, or 96.57% if you’re using Bonus Buy options. 

Final Verdict

You may or may not like how Win-O-Mart plays and looks, but it’s hard to dispute the originality and innovation it brings to the table. Five bonus rounds, each with a unique modifier plus six Bonus Buy options to nudge the hit frequency when you’re down on luck make it an interesting choice for experienced slot enthusiasts. 

On the other hand, I doubt beginners will be overjoyed by this game since it’s a high-volatility game with zero bonuses in the base game.
