How to play

This video slot by Ruby Play has five reels and three rows in each reel. Some of the symbols, however, span several rows and there can be up to five symbols per row. This game does not offer regular paylines, instead, there are 243 to 100,000 possible ways to win.

The only aspect you can change is the total bet value. Simply use the plus and minus buttons to change the bet value between €0.20 through to the maximum bet of €100. This high bet value variance means both low spenders and high rollers can enjoy the game.

There is also an autoplay feature. Click the auto button and a pop-up appears. Here you can select the number of spins between 2 and 500, and other features like win and loss limits. This gives you good control if you simply want to burn through a stack of spins.

Symbols and payouts

Wolf Haven has nine standard symbols and several special symbols. The standard symbols are a feather, a bracelet, a glowing stone, a dream catcher, a dog statue, a cat statue, an eagle, a bear, and the white wolf. The white wolf is the highest paying standard symbol and provides a multiplier of 1x your bet value when landing five.

Aside from the standard symbols, there are also some special symbols. First, we have the scatter symbol. This can appear on any reel and has its own payout. The scatter symbol is the highest paying single win with 5x symbols scoring a 100x multiplier.  

Next, we have the basic wild symbol which is the full moon. This appears on all reels except the first one and substitutes for all symbols except the wild activator and ruby coin. The wild symbol does not have a payout.

There is also a special wild activator symbol which is a blood full moon. This appears only on reel five and substitutes for all symbols except the scatter and ruby coin. If you get a winning combo with a wild activator, all symbols of the winning combo stay active. A random number of wilds are then added between 2 and 10 which can lead to more wins.

There is also a double symbol feature for each spin. Randomly, on any spin, symbols can be replaced by double symbols i.e. two bears. This effectively boosts your winnings and the bonus symbol counts as an additional symbol towards your winning combination.

Lastly, there is the Ruby Coin feature. A ruby coin can land on the fifth reel. If so, this deposits a random amount into your ruby coin balance and boosts your bet value.

Best Wolf Haven bonus feature

The Wolf Haven bonus round is activated by the scatter symbol. If you get three, four, or five scatter symbols, you earn Wolf Haven free spins and can win any of the three different bonus games. The first game is simply 10 free spins. Next, the second game is 10 free spins, and the bracelet and feather symbols are removed. 

Finally, the third option is 10 free spins, and the bracelet, feather, paw, and dreamcatcher symbols are removed. During the free spins, your current bet value is used, as is the standard paytable. You can also trigger an additional 10 free spins if you get three or more scatter symbols during the free spins.
