Wrath of Gods is created by Bang Bang Games in collaboration with Endemol Shine Gaming.

How to play

Wrath of Gods video slot has a non-standard reel setup and has seven reels in total. The end two reels have just one row, the second and sixth rows have two rows, and the third, fourth, and fifth rows have three rows. This makes for an interesting game and something completely different from most video slots. It also has up to 30 paylines (10 lines during the base game) that are fixed and always in-play.

In terms of game controls, the interface is simple and easy to understand. You can only change the bet value by clicking on the dollar icon. This allows you to set bet values from a minimum of €0.10, to a maximum of €60. This will appeal more towards low spenders, although the higher value may be OK for high rollers.

If you want to play quickly, there is also an autoplay feature. Click on the autoplay icon and you can change the number of spins from 5 to 50. Alternatively, you can click on the pencil icon and enter a custom number of free spins. There is no turbo spin option for this video slot.

Symbols and payouts

The Wrath of Gods slot has eight symbols in its basic paytable. It also has a range of bonus symbols and unique features. The basic symbols are a J, Q, K, and A. Also, the higher paying symbols are medusa, the minotaur, the cyclops, and a warrior.

Of the lower-paying symbols, the Jack and Queen have the lowest payout at 2x the line bet for three symbols. The Ace and King have the highest payout at 100x the bet per line for seven symbols. Of the higher paying symbols, the warrior has the highest payout of 250x the line bet for seven symbols.

This game also has an expanding reel feature. During any spin, the reels can expand for a single spin. They can expand to a maximum of 30 lines in total in play which can improve your chances of winning. Also, during any spin, the god symbols can randomly turn the middle reel into a god wild that fills the entire reel. Finally, the gods can also turn any of the high-paying symbols into divine symbols - this means that up to 10 symbols on the reels will turn into that divine symbol.

Best Wrath of Gods bonus feature

Wrath of Gods has an interesting bonus feature that is triggered by one of the three god symbols - Zeus, Hades, or Poseidon. Zeus scatter symbols are on reels three and five, Poseidon on reels two, and six, and Hades on reels one, and seven. If you get two identical god symbols and a free spin symbol, you trigger the Wrath of Gods free spins feature.

Each god offers a different type of free spin with different bonuses. Zeus gives bonus scatter symbols on reels three, four, and five, and the free spins have 10 lines in total. Alternatively, Poseidon gives bonus scatter symbols on reels two, four, and six, and gives 10 free spins with 20 lines in each. Finally, Hades gives bonus scatter symbols on reels one, four, and seven, and gives 10 free spins with 30 lines. Other than the special bonuses, the standard paytable is used for the free spins.

Bang Bang Games has also classed this game as a medium volatility slot. As a result, you can expect to win relatively often. Also, an occasional jackpot win is thrown in.
