Bet365 and Genius Sports have signed an extension of their pre-existing deal. This new move will see the operator launch several new products that receive data from Genius Sport’s Second Spectrum
As per the deal, Genius Sports will grant Bet365 exclusive access to its portfolio of official data. This data covers many different sporting events and divisions. Included in this are the English Premier League, the National Football League, Nascar, and more.
Genius is also able to provide Bet365 with data for the National Collegiate Atheltic Associations Sports. As such, it will be the only operator to have access to this data, giving it a significant advantage over other operators that are attempting to break through in the American market.
As well as this, the deal includes a brand new selection of betting products powered by AI technology. Second Spectrum will supply this.
The deal is seen as a big step forward for Genius Sports. Speaking on the company’s behalf, Chief Executive Mark Locke said that extending their partnership with Bet365 demonstrates that they are committed to innovation.
They said that they will provide Bet365 with the highest-quality content and data across thousands of sporting events. They finished by saying that they want to create a first-of-its-kind betting experience for customers and to be able to provide them with an immersive real-time betting experience.
The announcement of this deal comes after the companies expanded their deal for video content earlier in the year. Back in January, Genius Sports and Bet365 penned a new deal to allow Bet365 to be able to stream additional video content of top-tier football competitions. As part of this deal, Genius Sports also delivered data-driven marketing campaigns for Bet365.
Bet365 will hope that this emphasis on data and live sporting content can help it further establish itself as a major player in the US market. The company recently made a move into the state of Colorado. It has done this through its partnership with Century Casino. As part of the deal, Bet365 will be able to offer online and mobile sports betting to players in the state using its Century’s master licenses.
