Betway Signs Sponsorship Deal with Toulouse FC

Players and fans of Toulouse FC will get used to seeing Betway’s branding over the next few years. The company has signed a new sponsorship deal with the club that will see it heavily featured in the team’s matchday.

Matchday Sponsorship

The new sponsorship deal between Betway and Toulouse FC will see the betting company’s name be on the team’s football shirt until at least the end of the 2023/24 season. As well as this, the company’s logo and branding will feature heavily around the team’s home stadium, the Stadium de Toulouse. This will include coverage on LED advertising boards and match-day hoardings.

The deal will extend beyond the matchday though. The two parties are expected to create digital content with one another. It is expected to provide Betway with some big exposure in France, with Toulouse being its fourth biggest city with a population of nearly half a million.

Toulouse currently play in Ligue 2, the second division of French football. This is a little bit of a false position though, with the side spending most of its history in the top flight. The Stade de Toulouse holds over 33,000 people, which will provide Betway with plenty of exposure every matchday.

A Promising Deal for Both Parties

Betway has an incredibly impressive portfolio of betting sponsorship deals and it is delighted to add Toulouse to that list. The deal is the company’s first in France and its CEO, Anthony Werkman has said that it is proud to be working with Toulouse FC.

Werkman was complimentary when talking about Toulouse. They said that they were happy to have signed a multi-year deal. They pointed to the club’s fantastic history and its size, and also said it is excited to be supporting them on their request to return to Ligue 1. These sentiments were echoed by the Head of Marketing at Betway in France, Brice Maurin who described it as a privilege to be working with Toulouse as the company tries to make its way into the French market.

Of course, Toulouse also expressed excitement at the deal. The club’s general manager Olivier Jaubert said that they were pleased to have such a major player in the betting industry associated with Toulouse. They described the deal as an important moment for the club and said that the deal will help them on their request to return to Ligue 1. They finished by saying that they were proud to be chosen by Betway as their first sponsor in the country.
