BGaming Portfolio Compliant With German Regulation

BGaming has confirmed it has made adjustments to its online slots portfolio to be compliant with new German market regulations. It is now ready to provide its online slot portfolio and other content to German operators. German regulation is notoriously difficult, and BGaming will see this as an important achievement.

Necessary Changes Made

BGaming is delighted to announce that its products are now fully compliant with German online gambling laws. This comes after changes were made to the Interstate Treaty on Gambling in 2021. This allows operators to provide slots on a federal level in Germany. 

This wasn’t without restrictions though. These new laws included slots having to have a five-second spin length, no autospin feature, a maximum spin-stake of €1, and the description and game details in German. Regarding the last point, the return to player (RTP) must also be visible to players. 

Now that BGaming has made all of the necessary changes, the company will be able to start working with operators with .de domains. It is hoped that the move will help the company further cement its status as a top developer in many of Europe’s top regulated markets. 

The company’s Head of Business Development Department, Alexandr Shavel spoke with enthusiasm about BGaming’s future in the market. They also praised their technical team for being able to get everything up to the standards that are required. Germany has some of the strictest licensing laws on the continent, and it requires a dedicated team to help make sure that content is ready for the country.
