Caesars Launches Sportsbook in Newly-Regulated Ohio

The state of Ohio is open for business, with lawmakers in the state legalizing sports betting as of January 1st 2023. The state will welcome many operators who will now allow players from the state to sign-up and place bets. One such operator is Caesars Entertainment, which launched its products to players in Ohio on Sunday.

Two Physical Sports Betting Locations 

Caesars Entertainment has opened two sports betting venues for players in two different locations in the State. The first of these is the brand-new sportsbook at Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs. Visitors to this venue will be able to place bets using a self-service kiosk or by going to a new betting window. 

Bettors in Northeast Ohio will also have physical access to Caesar's services. The company’s second location is a retail betting spot at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. This is a leading sports facility in the area that is also home to the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cleveland Warriors, the city’s basketball and hockey teams respectively.

The stadium is extremely popular with sports fans in the area and will no doubt attract plenty of attention for Caesars. The company also operates as the Cavalier’s Official Casino and Sports Betting Partner, which will provide it with major exposure. 

Online Services Also Made Available  

It’s not just physical sports betting options that will be provided by Caesars Entertainment. The Caesars mobile app is also available for players in Ohio now. The operator has also done plenty to incentive players to get started with the service. New players will be treated to a sign-up bonus, and Caesars has promised plenty of other bonuses in the near future. 

Players can also gain points towards the Caesars Reward program. This is a loyalty program that can be used in both physical venues and online. Players will get credits for placing bets, and these can be used to advance through tiers. This program offers players the chance to win unique rewards. This includes tickets, merchandise, and amazing sporting experiences. 

The company’s digital president, Eric Hession, spoke with great excitement about the move into Ohio. They said that Ceasars is going to be able to offer a top-quality betting experience to players in the state. They said they want to add an extra level of excitement to sports for players, whether this is through the mobile app or through visiting their physical venues. 

Open For Business  

It is not just Caesars that will now be providing its services in Ohio. Other major players have also gone live in the state, both online and with physical venues. DraftKings has joined forces with Hollywood Casino Toledo, while BetMGM will be working with MGM Northfield Park. FanDuel Sportsbook has also launched its app and partnered with Belterra Park, while BetRivers also has a physical presence with Hollywood Casino Dayton.
