Esports Entertainment Partners with Beyond the Summit to Sponsor CS:GO Tournament

Esports Entertainment Group (EEG) has announced its partnership with Beyond the Summit (BTS). In the partnership, the online sports betting outfit based in Malta is set to become the official gambling sponsor of the CS:GO tournament. This will be through its VIE.bet brand.

VIE.bet to Offer Specials and Live Odds

It comes as no surprise that VIE.bet will offer live odds and specials for the duration of the event since it’s now the exclusive gambling partner. The Beyond the Summit CS:GO tournament is set to run between 14th May and 30th May 2021.

Bux Syed who’s the VIE.bet Director said that the BTS Summit is one that excites and entertains various esports communities. This is regardless of the game in question. Dota 2, Super Smash Bros, or CS:GO. According to Mr. Syed, it’s the distinctiveness of the event that attracted VIE.bet.

Beyond the Summit ranks number five as the most-viewed channel on Twitch. Furthermore, it boasts at least 20 billion watched minutes, making it one of the largest esports networks globally. On top of that, its broadcast is available in over 110 countries courtesy of digital and linear channel distributions. It also has a social media following of above 5 million.

Going All-in on South and North American Bettors

The BTS and EEG partnership looks to rope in the massive audience in South and North America. As such, the CS:GO event is set to be broadcasted not only in English but also in Portuguese.

Twitch recorded at least 6.4m unique viewers in the last edition of the BTS CS:GO tournament. This accounted for the 19.3m live views during the tournament. The event also pulled in at least 236,000 simultaneous viewers on the Twitch platform during peak hours. The average viewership during the tournament stood at 47,000.

Teaming Up with Sports Franchises

The partnership with BTS isn’t the only one by EEG. This esports online gambling operator has been on a partnership hunt. This is after the company teamed up with several professional sports brands.

The Philadelphia Eagles is one such franchise, a partnership that was sealed in December last year. Its aim was to introduce new player experiences to NFL fans by setting up the NFL Madden competitions that occur bi-annually.

EEG later teamed up with yet another NFL franchise. This time it was the Baltimore Ravens, a deal sealed in February 2021. In the deal, EEG will be the tournament provider bi-annually for the franchise. This will be powered by Esports Gaming League (EGL) platform. Furthermore, the gambling operator will create unique videos with the Raven players. This will be for the sole purpose of digital marketing advertising.
