GiG Reveals Betsson as Sportsbook Partner in Colombia

The Gaming Innovation Group has unveiled Betsson Group as its maiden sports betting partner in Colombia. This comes after the company had revealed in June that it had signed with an unnamed tier-one provider.

The Big Reveal 

The announcement of Betsson as their sports betting partner came two months after GiG initially revealed it had secured a deal with an operator in the market. It has revealed that it has had a deal and worked with the operator for the last 12 months, with Colombia now being the third country that they will work in together. 

It was confirmed by GiG that the deal had started last year when Betsoon took over the regional operator Colbet.co. Following this takeover, it made its move over to GiG’s Sportsnco platform. This move has been particularly fruitful for Betsson. The company has a strong presence in Colombia and it has been said that this has cemented it further in the last year. 

Continued Growth in Colombia

Speaking about the deal, Andrea Rossi, Betsson’s commercial director for Southern Europe and LatAm said that this move has been part of its rebranding in the country. The migration to the GiG platform has helped them to cement their position in Colombia and some of their other markets. 

They reiterated their loyalty to GiG by saying that they believe they are the best company with which to grow in the region. They spoke highly of the platform that GiG provides and said that they have a strong relationship with the company and its staff. This deal further strengthens these ties. 

Hervé Schlosser, the managing director of Sportnco returned the sentiments to Betsson. They said that they are excited to finally announce the partnership with the company. This move is another great example of their continued effort to expand in the Latin American market. 

They finished their statement by saying that the increasing demands for their solutions and the company’s reputation in the region are something that everyone at Sportnco is incredibly proud of.
