Nemesis Games Granted License to Operate in Romania by the ONJN

Online casino players in Romania will now have access to games developed by Nemesis Games. This comes after the ONJN, the Romanian regulating body, granted the developer a B2B license to operate in the country.

A Step Forward for Nemesis

Nemesis Games confirmed via a press release on its official website that it had been granted the license from ONJN. This will allow the developer to provide its content to operators in the country. 

The company described this as a step forward in its international distribution policy. International growth has been a priority for Nemesis since it opened its doors back in 2017. Romania is just one of several countries where it provides its services. 

The Romanian gambling market may be in the eyes of a lot of developers and operators in the coming months. It was reporting a strong 11% annual growth rate before the pandemic hit, with many expecting a return to these levels soon.

Continuing to Expand

There are two types of licenses that can be issued by the Romanian National Gambling Office - one for the consumer market, and one for the business market. The business license is what development companies like Nemesis need to be approved for. 

In a press release on its site, Nemesis said that its goal is to continue to look for new and exciting outlets for its content. Also, it recently made the move of working with the Italian technology provider Pixelo, which will see it provide content on the VinciTu Platform. It aims to have released 30 titles on the Italian market by the end of 2021.
