This great news is the result of Oryx getting a UK license, necessary to legally operate in the country, just a few weeks prior. But what does this mean for gamers like you? Well, in addition to Oryx's proprietary games, UK customers will also be able to enjoy Gamomat releases, as well as titles from Bragg’s new studio Atomic Slot Lab. VP B2C Casino at 888, Talya Benyamini, explained how thanks to the successful collaboration the company can now offer even more variety than ever. Furthermore, Benyamini explained how this move was in accordance with the company’s strategy on many levels. 

Why is the UK Market so Relevant? 

The United Kingdom was one of the first countries to regulate online gambling. According to the recent report issued by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC), the Gross Gambling Yield in the past year was £6.9 billion. The majority of the GGY has been generated thanks to online casino gaming. The dynamic world of online slots and other casino genres managed to contribute around £4 billion. 

The UKGC’s survey on gambling behavior showed British gamblers have an average of three accounts.
