Pragmatic Play Teams Up with CDP Gaming Technologies to Enter South Africa

Leading gaming content developer, Pragmatic Play, recently confirmed its entrance to the South African gambling market. This is through its cooperation with CDP Gaming Technologies. As a result, CDP Gaming will have exclusive rights to resell products from Pragmatic Play in South Africa. The deal will see Pragmatic Play start by offering its live casino catalog to online punters.

Details of the Agreement

According to the agreement, the collaboration with CDP Gaming Technologies, which holds a manufacturer’s license in South Africa, will be able to resell products from Pragmatic Play in South Africa. Initially, the company will start offering Pragmatic Play’s live casino products within the jurisdiction. Fans of virtual sports and slots will have to wait a while longer but Pragmatic Play says they are not too far down the pipeline.

As for live casino enthusiasts, Pragmatic Play promises to deliver a truly immersive gaming experience. This is by combining its experience with classic land-based casino games and online gambling. Its versatile portfolio in this category encompasses the likes of blackjack, roulette, and baccarat variants that give punters a wide variety to choose from.

Reactions from Both Companies

Expressing his excitement after inking the deal, Solomon Godwin, African Business Development Manager at Pragmatic Play, said that they were more than excited to team up with CDP Gaming Technologies. According to Mr. Godwin, CDP is a leading gambling platform in the country, an aspect that qualifies it to become a distributor of its products in South Africa. He further added that the partnership will offer South African live gaming enthusiasts access to all of Pragmatic Play’s innovative live-dealer games.

On his part, Director and Co-Owner CDP Gaming Technologies, Tebogo Makamo, said that they were more than “happy to be the first operator to offer their content to South African players.” According to Mr. Makamo, Pragmatic Play is one of the latest gaming providers to team up with CDP to enter the South African gambling market. This he said as he assured punters of “innovative and award-winning” titles from this partnership.

Speaking of partnerships, Pragmatic Play has been on an aggressive expansion plan in recent months. The gaming provider is looking to establish its presence in various regulated markets. Before sealing the deal with CDP, Pragmatic Play has partnered with the likes of Solbet, StarVegas (Greentube Italian B2C brand), Buzz Bingo, and M88.
