Quickspin celebrated a full decade since its inception last week. The game developer celebrated the milestone by updating the company’s logo as it enters a new era of game development.
It’s been 10 years since Quickspin stepped onto the iGaming scene. Daniel Lindberg takes credit for founding the company that has now grown into a force to reckon with in the business. The CEO said in a statement they felt stronger than before and that the next 10 years have more to offer. The developer went ahead to update its logo as a mark of the ten years in operation while also marking a new chapter in its existence.
Quickspin today boasts over 80 quality games in its library enjoyed by millions of gamblers worldwide. In September, the game studio released Big Bad Wolf Megaways. This title went ahead to become the best game ever, out-performing many titles already popular in the industry. In fact, it bagged the Game of the Year award by EGR after its release.
Daniel Lindberg spoke about the award. The CEO called the partnership with Big Time Gaming a perfect fit. Mr. Lindberg went on to express confidence in the fame while also heaping praise on the team for piecing the game together.
Henrik Lundqvist is behind the company’s platform. And it’s the efforts of this department that saw the developer migrate its partners onto it. This then led to Quickspin owning its full distribution chain. That meant it could be as agile as needed to fit the market needs.
The game developer continues on its growth trajectory with more good news flowing its way. Quickspin received the Company of the Year award at the WIG Diversity awards 2021. The CEO commented on the milestone expressing their pride in what the company has become.
Mr. Lindberg also spoke about the company’s ability to change people’s lives by offering job opportunities. The company has created at least 100 job opportunities since its inception, investing in people.
So, what’s next for Quickspin even as it celebrates a decade in the industry? The CEO said the company is working on a roadmap as they asked stakeholders to stay alert for the studio’s first book game. Book of Duat and Cash Truck is what the official termed as the new era for Quickspin.
Lindberg concluded by praising the company’s adherence to its Ethos regardless of the losses and success over the past years. They said this has been possible thanks to the values as well as the culture built by the company since its inception.
