GAN and Relax Gaming signed a content distribution deal to offer Silverback Gaming content to wider audiences worldwide. Silverback Gaming is now GAN’s property and the deal will allow it to reach players in new markets. This is in line with the company’s plan to seek strategic partnerships in the iGaming space.
GAN acquired Silverback as the new year ticked over. And it has plenty of plans for it. Despite the acquisition, Silverback has been running rather independently. But the company wants to develop up to 50 online slot titles with immersive gaming experiences. That’s on top of being mobile-ready. The developer hopes to do this within three years.
The move will allow it to add to its already existing portfolio that includes the likes of Aztec Luck and Mystery Stacks. Silverback Gaming continues to expand its presence in the iGaming space. Optimized and hard-hitting content is now becoming the anchor for the developer.
Relax Gaming comes in to boost the studio’s presence. One of the ways it intends to do that is by offering market access in various jurisdictions worldwide. The company’s Silver Bullet will also come in handy to further accelerate its reach.
Relax Gaming CPO commented on the deal. Simmon Hammon expressed their continued partnership with Silverback Gaming and GAN in the company’s plan to work with creative studios under the company’s Silver Bullet program.
Silverback is also excited at the opportunity. The CEO and founder commented on the deal saying GAN’s expertise in the B2B sector continues to define the studio’s offering. Raph Di Guisto also stated the US market remains a key focus for the company as they seek to expand its reach.
The top official further added that the merging of the two teams will accelerate the company’s ability to deliver exciting releases to its customers over the coming years. Di Guisto also expressed their excitement to continue working with Relax Gaming.
Silverback Gaming is still a young developer based in Sofia, Bulgaria. But the studio features a rather limited number of titles under its belt. But this latest partnership is set to change that as it seeks to churn out a significant number of slots over a few years.
Relax Gaming now boasts over 3,000 online casino games. This is through its aggregation platform, Silver Bullet as well as Powered by Relax. Relax Gaming is also a force to reckon with in the industry when it comes to differentiation. It also won at least 10 awards over 2021. That’s not all! The game developer is already in contention for more awards this year.
