Rapid Expansion of Relax Gaming
Relax Gaming will operate in the UK under its Gibraltar subsidiary. But the introduction of popular slots and games is not the only good news. This software giant has also managed to transfer operator partners Boylesports, 32Red, and BetVictor to the Gibraltar subsidiary. The next in line is Entain’s brands, which include Ladbrokes and Coral. The entire UK licensing process was announced in February. For this reason, the company even appointed a new senior business development manager, Alba Monroy.
Monroy, described by the company as “the right person to assist in driving this vision forward”, said she is joining the company at the most exciting of times. Besides the UK markets, Monroy will also overview the expansion in LatAm territories. Before joining Relax Gaming, Monroy worked at Microgaming, as well as Paysafe Group and IGT. She joined the team in February and has already made a significant impact. Way to go, girl!
Ruling the Regulated Markets
The UKGC license is probably the most coveted in the entire gaming industry. This regulator is known to be serious and diligent, and is incredibly popular among customers. Even players who are not from the UK see it as a sign of a reliable casino. No wonder Relax Gaming decided to add it to its portfolio which already contains MGA, Gibraltar, and Romanian licenses. The Gibraltar license, obtained in October 2020, was also incredibly significant as it allowed the company to expand the number of operators it can collaborate with.
Just like many other brands, this content generator decided to focus on regulated markets. Another major market of interest is the Nordic countries. Relax Gaming even won the EGR Nordics Casino Content Supplier award.
Tommi Maijala, Relax Gaming CEO, explained that the company already has a great relationship with the UKGC through the Maltese company. He described the licensing of the Gibraltar arm as a “commercial highlight”. Furthermore, Maijala stated the license is not significant just for the company, but all its partners and collaborators. He sees the license as a fresh opportunity to continue providing excellence on all regulated markets.
