Romanian gamblers have a new game provider in their midst. Realistic Games is the latest entrant in the country after receiving a license from the Romanian National Gambling Office. The developer continues to expand its presence in the European market.
The Romanian National Gambling Office gave Realistic Games a supplier license to operate in Romania. This was after the game developer ticked all the boxes required to receive the certification as it also looks to expand its operations across Europe.
The license acquisition means the top game studio can supply its online casino content portfolio to operators in the country. This latest milestone by the developer is clear evidence of its commitment to entering dynamic and regulated markets. These markets include Romania where players have enjoyed gambling since 2006.
Realistic Games is known for developing exciting products covering a wide range of options. Slots and table games are the majority with Romanian gamblers expected to come across the likes of Electrocoin remakes, the Game Changer series, perennial classics such as Super Graphics Down and 8th Wonder. Fans of instant win games also have a wide variety of gaming options to choose from.
Entering the Romanian gambling market represents the developer’s latest expansion into regulated markets. It also holds several licenses to operate in other jurisdictions such as the UK, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, and Croatia.
Robert Lee said receiving a go-ahead from the Romanian gambling watchdog is a crucial milestone for the developer as it grows its footprint in regulated markets. The Realistic Games commercial director also spoke of Romania as being a thriving region in Southern Europe. They also said the company would announce its planned operator partnerships in the coming months as it establishes itself in the country.
Apart from expanding its market presence, Realistic Games has been on a journey to upgrade and remake some of its games. This is in addition to releasing plenty of exciting titles. Its classic casino titles received major technical upgrades and they include Hi-Lo Gambler and Keno. These are the final two releases the developer decided to re-purpose in HTML5 as it looks to push out flash technology. The HTML5 re-purposing means the titles come with enhanced audio and graphics. An intuitive user interface is also part of the improvement.
One of the biggest remakes came at the close of August this year. The 6 Appeal Extreme slot underwent a major makeover to introduce more features for enhanced player engagement. The original title, 6 Appeal Deluxe, is one of the studio’s most popular titles. The new additions in the remake include a Free Spins feature accompanied by a multiplier. This multiplier can increase when re-activated. More enhancements include an increased payout capped at 6,666x. There’s also a buy feature within the game.
