The HGC Approves Kalamba Games License Application

The HGC Approves Kalamba Games License Application

It’s good news for Kalamba Games after it received a supplier license in Greece. Receiving this license makes Kalamba the latest developer to get a nod from the HGC (Hellenic Gaming Commission) since the country introduced new regulations.

Kalamba Games Set to Offer its Games in Greece

The Hellenic Gaming Commission greenlighted Kalamba Games by approving a license application to operate in the country. This license will allow the game developer to supply Greek gaming operators with 15 games.

Some of the games that make up the list include Griffin’s Quest, Blazing Bull, and Ducks till Dawn. The Joker series will also feature in the list.

Kalamba Games Chief Commercial Officer, Giles Lucas stated the company was delighted about entering a new market. The official’s statement came after receiving HGC’s approval. He added that Greece joins the rising number of regulated markets the developer serves directly.

The CCO also touched on the importance of the developer’s Bullseye RGS platform. Meeting the ever-increasing regulatory requirements in various jurisdictions can be tough. That’s where the RGS platform comes in handy.

Bullseye allows the developer to support its partners with various services. These services include deploying unique content to various regulated markets, game development at a reasonable cost. All this is done rapidly.

Greece’s Gambling Market

The Hellenic Gaming Commission started receiving license applications last year in October. This was after lawmakers passed a bill that reformed the Greek gambling regulations in 2019. The reforms allowed the formation of two licensing options. One for companies offering games of chance and the other for online betting.

Using Random Number Generator games was also sanctioned by the bill. The move received support through legal action threats against another draft of the same bill that banned RNG offerings.

Greece has been offering licenses to multiple operators in recent months. Some of the licensees include Betsson, GoldenRace, Pariplay by Aspire Global, and NetBet.

Kalamba Games on a Rapid Expansion Plan Across Europe

The entrance into the Greek gambling market marks yet another achievement in the developer’s growth strategy. Kalamba Games recently entered the Croatian market after receiving certification in the jurisdiction.

Croatians will also have the same game collection as the Greeks. But they can be sure of getting unique and innovative products.

Earlier in the year, Kalamba Games entered the Italian market. This was after the game supplier partnered with BLOX. The partnership saw BLOX integrate Kalamba’s array of innovative games.

Kalamba Games enhanced its market reach in Italy after sealing another deal with Tuko Productions. This was later in April. The game supplier integrated its Bullseye Remote Gaming Server with Tuko Productions’ Tuko Hub Systems.

Kalamba Games then hit two birds with one stone. This was after partnering with Emara Play. The move allowed the game supplier to enter Spain and Latin American markets.
