Wazdan continues to spread its wings across Europe. The online casino supplier recently announced its entrance into the Italian online gambling market. This was after it partnered with Tuko Productions.
Wazdan announced its entrance into the Italian iGaming market with Tuko Productions. The content aggregator will provide the Wazdan games library to allow Italian customers to get a feel of what it can offer.
Tuko Productions is a content aggregator in Italy. It started operations in Italy in 2016. That means it boasts experience of the local market. It also enjoys several partnerships with some of the top online casinos in Italy.
This gives Wazdan plenty of market for its titles on its debut in the scene. Some of the flagship titles Italian customers can look forward to include Sizzling 777 Deluxe, Black Horse Deluxe, Larry the Leprechaun, and Magic Stars 3 and 9 Lions.
Wazdan enters Italy as the iGaming scene in the country continues to enjoy significant growth. May saw the iGaming market experience a significant rise in its revenue. Revenue was up 14% from April’s total and 94% from May.
Gross gaming revenue from sports betting climbed to €153 million in May to lead the way. This is despite the ongoing retail closures. Casino revenue experienced a slight decline in revenue at 3.8% on April’s numbers to close at €155.1 million. But this was a 32% year-over-year increase from last May.
Such numbers are an encouragement for Wazdan as it enters Italy. The numbers continue to soar despite the government’s restrictive measures toward sports sponsorships. Italy’s government banned gambling advertisements as well as gambling partner sponsorships.
Various stakeholders including the FGIC called on the government to lift the suspension. The FGIC recently drafted proposals on the same with the aim of helping the football sector recover from the economic ravages due to the health restrictions.
Tuko Productions will integrate the entire game portfolio from Wazdan Hold and Jackpot slots. This collection includes the likes of Fortune Reels.
Andrzej Hyla commented on the partnership. The official said Wazdan continues to commit to forming more partnerships. They added consumers worldwide continue to receive the company’s products quite well. Andrzej Hyla is the chief commercial officer at Wazdan.
Vicenzo Tancredi praised Wazdan’s products’ originality and quality. The official particularly touched on the retro-like titles and Hold the Jackpot collection. Tancredi is the sales director at Tuko Productions.
Wazdan is on an aggressive growth strategy. Its entrance into the United States is one of the latest moves. The game developer received approval from New Jersey’s gambling regulator earlier in July.
That means gamblers in New Jersey can expect the developer’s 10+ slots to roll out in the state. Wazdan hopes to expand its reach in the US by attending the G2E event later in the year in Las Vegas. Other markets the game studio is already in include Belarus and Switzerland.
