Yggdrasil and Reflex Gaming to Enter UK Retail Market

Yggdrasil, one of the industry’s leading slot developers, has signed a new agreement with Reflex Gaming. The deal will build on a pre-existing partnership and will see Yggdrasil's products introduced to the land-based sector for the first time, with the UK market firmly in the duo’s crosshairs.

A Successful Partnership

Yggdrasil and Reflex Gaming have been working together since 2020 when Reflex became a part of the Yggdrasil Masters Partner program. The YG Masters Program allows third-party content creators access to some of the developer’s tools in order to develop and distribute their products more effectively. 

Reflex Gaming has released 11 titles through the YG Masters Program. This includes titles like Dublin Up DoubleMax and Desperate Dawgs 2 GigaBlox, both of which used some of Yggdrasil’s custom GEMs. 

Other GEMs that have been developed by Yggdrasil that are available for use include GigaRise, Splitz, FastPot5, and DuoMax. This new partnership will see Reflex Gaming have continued access to these, while Yggdrasil’s GEMs will be able to make their land-based retail debut. 

A Milestone for Yggdrasil

The move into retail and land-based venues will mark a significant milestone for Yggdrasil. Stuart McCarthy, the Head of Products & Programs for the company, spoke with positivity about the move. They praised the importance of their partnership with Reflex Gaming, reiterating what a milestone the move was. 

McCarthy then mentioned the work the two have done together in the past. They noted the strong response players have had to their games and said they were excited to take this to the retail sector. They finished by saying that the deal is a testament to the quality of their GEMs and the potential they have. 

Of course, Reflex Gaming was also excited about the deal. Matt Ingram, the company’s CPO said that they have been incredibly pleased with everything they have achieved with Yggdrasil over the last few years. They noted how well the GEMs have performed with players and how effortlessly they have integrated into their products. 

Ingram said that bringing these mechanics and features to land-based players in the UK is extremely exciting. They said that they believe in their great potential to succeed in this sector and that they look forward to working with Yggdrasil more in the future.
