Flowers Slot Review

While there are many truly innovative titles in the NetEnt portfolio, there are also plenty that do away with the fancy mechanics and provide simple but effective themes and gameplay.

How to Play

NetEnt has kept things simple with the Flowers slot gameplay. The game’s title tells you all you need to know about the game visually. The matrix is designed to look like a flower bed, and there are a few extra leaves thrown around the outside that don’t really add much to the design.

The gameplay is just as straightforward as the design. The game is played using coins, with five different levels and different coin values. The lowest coin value is €0.01 and at bet level, this is played across 30 paylines for a minimum bet of €0.30. The maximum value is €0.50, and at bet level five, this totals €75. This is a mixed betting range that is probably going to appeal more to higher budgets.

The action unfolds across a 5x3 grid with 30 active paylines on each spin. The game has an autospin feature that allows the game to take up to 1,000 spins on your behalf and also offers advanced settings for losses and winnings. It is also supported on mobile devices, with the easy set-up making a smooth transition to the smaller screen.

Symbols and Payouts

Winning combinations in the Flowers online slot game are paid out in coins. The highest paying symbol in the game is the wild, which in this case is a sun. It will pay out 5,000 coins for combos of five, 1,000 for four, and 250 for three.

The highest paying standard symbol is a rather mean-looking red flower. It pays out 2,000 coins for combos of ten. For nine, you will get 1,000 coins, followed by 600 and 400 for eight and seven. The lowest it will pay out is 20 for combos of three. Next up is the sunflower and a green plant, which pay out 1,800 coins and 1,600 for combos of ten respectively. A pink and blue flower then round off the higher-payer symbols, coughing up 1,400 coins and 1,200.

The royal symbols only pay for combinations of five. The highest paying is the Ace, which pays 200 coins for five, the King and Queen then pay 150 and 125 respectively. Finally, the Jack is the lowest paying symbol. It pays 100 for five, 15 for four, and 5 for three.

Best Flowers Bonus Feature

It’s fair to say that NetEnt has not gone overboard with the Flowers bonus features. The game does not boast any of the innovative mechanics that NetEnt games have become known for. Instead, it sticks to old-school, straightforward features.

First, there is the game’s double symbol feature. Double symbols will land on most spins and these can count as two symbols. It’s nothing groundbreaking but it can lead to some nice extra wins throughout the game if your luck is in.

The main feature is the Flowers bonus spins round. This is triggered when you land four or more scatters on one spin. Four scatters will give you 10 bonus spins, with each scatter after that giving you five extra. The maximum number of spins you can get is 30, which is rewarded for eight scatters. A bet multiplier is also applied to the round, this starts at x2 for four symbols and goes up to x10 for eight. As well as this, all wins in the free spins round are tripled.

During the spins, the sun wild symbol may also appear stacked, further increasing your chances of landing a winning combination.

RTP & Volatility

The Flowers RTP is listed by NetEnt as a solid 96.32%, putting it marginally above the industry average. It has been given a medium/low volatility rating. We found that we were able to secure some good wins once the bonus spins round was triggered. The double symbols were also a small but useful mechanic that helped to secure some good wins in the base game and aided the triggering of the bonus round. To wrap up this Flowers slot review, we found the game to be fairly uninspiring, but it did offer some nice wins in the bonus rounds, if nothing else.
