Nicola’s Casino Experience
Nicola has always had a personal interest in online gambling, and being from the UK this naturally began with horse race betting and bingo. A professional background in customer support propelled Nicola to apply for a role with LeoVegas in 2016. And she then found herself jetting off to the sunny iGaming hub of Malta to join a team of support experts. It was in this role that Nicola gained first-hand knowledge of the online gambling industry. Where she was assisting players from all four corners of the world with queries on payments, slots, live casino, and sports betting.
It wasn’t long before Nicola climbed the career ladder and began to work in Quality Assurance. In this role, she was responsible for ensuring that support agents were always providing the best service to players. Nicola also began to provide content for internal websites at LeoVegas as well as managing player reviews and complaints. It was in this role that she discovered a passion and natural flair for writing about online gambling.
The next natural step was to become a content writer at LeoVegas where Nicola was able to get to grips with marketing and SEO. Working on material for all English-speaking markets gave her great insight and knowledge into different playing trends and gambling compliance.
In 2019 Nicola moved to France to work remotely as a content writer for another popular online casino. It was then in 2020 that she decided to ‘go it alone’ and began to write for gambling companies all around the world on a freelance basis. To date, Nicola estimates that she has written over 400 casino reviews as well as articles on a range of topics from the NFL to casino gambling with Bitcoins.
