Symbols and Payouts

This game has many special symbols. But before diving into the specials, let me discuss the regulars that enable you to generate wins.

For starters, this game has seven paying symbols, distinguished from the bare grey rocks (non-paying blockers) by their green colouration. You generate a winning combination when Bombs, Lasers, or the Orbital Bombardment feature destroys individual paying symbols.

The removed symbols trigger a cascade, causing the existing symbols to drop down and fill the gaps while new symbols from above complete the grid.

Further, after the current grid settles and no more Lasers or Bombs are activated, an Orbital Bombardment can trigger on 3-7 different positions. The Orbital Bombardment strike can occur more than once per spin and affect a 2x2 area. The strikes also activate any Bombs or Lasers hit by effect.

Deploy Shields

Certain symbols in Fire My Laser have a shield. They require multiple Bomb and Laser (except the Super Laser) hits or Orbital Bombardment to remove the shield and activate the symbol.

The number on the blue Shield icon in the top-left corner of the symbol indicates how many more hits remain before it breaks. The Shields are on the multiplier and FS symbols. The multipliers require 2 or 3 hits to break their Shield and have the following values:

• 2-Shield - 2x to 10x.
• 3-Shield - 15x to 500x.

The activated multipliers are added to the Total Win Bar at the end of the spin. Then, the total multiplier multiplies the collected wins. Meanwhile, the two FS symbols require 3 hits to break their Shield and trigger a bonus. However, only 1 FS symbol activates each corresponding bonus.

Alien Attack

Break the Shield on an Alien Mind FS symbol in the base game to unlock this bonus with 8 free spins! The bonus retains all the base game mechanics in addition to storing all multipliers in the progressive multiplier.

The progressive multiplier applies to the accumulated amount in the Total Win Bar on any spin where at least one new multiplier accumulates to the progressive amount. Break a shield on an Alien Mind FS during this Fire My Laser bonus for +2 additional free spins!
