    The Roadkill Slot Game

To help you explore the game’s components in a personalized way, GoodLuckMate has linked the Roadkill free demo to this review! Feel free to launch it and play without spending your money!

The slot’s grid is pasted in the middle of the screen, with a bird’s eye view background of a muddy road passing through foliage and road-side vegetation. IMO, a well-done representation of the animal’s natural habitat, where most roadkills unfortunately happen.

Cartoonish visuals take centre stage but the traffic noises and funk rock-style music evoke a realistic atmosphere.

As usual, the designers maintain a minimalist interface with only a few visible controls. Therefore, the Roadkill slot machine should be easy to sail through for every player.

    Symbols and Payouts

An exhilarating experience awaits you in the paytable since all the symbols are thematic.

According to the paytable, the game adopts a sum of 16 symbols. It also details all the paying symbol patterns, potential payouts, and winning rules.

In the Roadkill online slot, all symbol payouts are dependent on the current stake.

The low-win symbols are the Wrapped Roadkill, Acorns, Bear Trap, Bear Sign, and Barrel. When 3+ of the same land, the game awards up to 0.5x, 0.75x, 1x, 1.25x, and 1.5x the bet.

Meanwhile, the mid-win G.Coonie (Raccoon), Love Nut (Squirrel), and El Zorro (Fox) characters give out upwards of 1.5x, 2x, and 2.5x the stake.

The most valuable icons include Hilly and Billy (some notorious motorists) who give out up to 5x and 7.5x your total stake, respectively!

Each of the trio protagonists, Papa Bear, Deer Joe, and Fred the Rabbit serve as jumping wilds with distinct abilities. For more about the bonuses, including the free spins, check out the following Roadkill slot review chapter!

    RoadKill Slot Bonus Features

Although there are a multitude of features, this review leaves no stone unturned.

    Call to Arms

Two (2) scatters activate this feature, applying two normal hearts. If the 3rd scatter lands, it unlocks the Team Assemble Roadkill free spins, restoring any lost normal hearts. This feature ends when no more hearts remain.

    Collectors

Whenever a Jumping Wild stops a car, it grows the respective collected value by one (+1). When it reaches its cap of five (5), it unlocks the upgrade feature, enhancing its Jumping Wild, depending on the type.

Upon triggering the upgrade bonus, a normal heart becomes armoured, or if a heart is missing the armoured one is added.

    Jumping Wild Symbols

They all move to a random position (columns 2-4) between the Roadkill slot spins.

    Papa Bear

It launches a 1x multiplier and can stop a car, increasing the multiplier by one (+1x) up to x5, while the Collector also rises by +1. If the Collector reaches 5, a persistent x2 multiplier is applied on the Jumping Wild until the bet ends.

    Deer Joe

It serves as a Split Wild, triggering only when it blocks a car. As a result, it splits all the symbols on the same row and direction from which the car appeared.

If its Collector reaches 5, the Split feature slices all the rows instead of one.

    Fred the Rabbit

It acts as a Trapper, and whenever it stops a car, it leaves a Wild in its current position as it jumps to a new empty one.

When its Collector gets to 5:

    • During its initial jump, it applies a Trap once in its starting position.
    • The Trap can only block and damage a car once, converting itself into a Wild. Otherwise, if it fails to stop or hit a car, it’s ejected from before the end of the spin.

    Hilly and Billy Cars

Hilly’s Car (Green) requires one hit to be stopped, while Billy’s Car (Red) should be hit twice. If a car traverses the reels from the right without being stopped, it picks another random row and traverses beginning from the left.

    Team Assemble

This Roadkill free play after collecting 3 scatters from the Call to Arms or base game. When activated, it applies 3 hearts or restores any lost normal hearts. Also, the Red and Green cars appear simultaneously every 5th spin.

    Junkyard Assault

Only triggers after all three Jumping Wilds are upgraded, also applying 3 hearts or restoring the lost ones. Here, both the Green and Red cars become active per spin. Further, a collective Collector replaces the individual collectors, triggering the Roadblock when it reaches its cap.

    Roadblock

It starts by restoring any regular hearts and converting each of the Jumping Wilds to cover a whole row. When applied, it prompts the Hilly and Billy vehicles to trigger a feature depending on the row hit:

      • The top adds a random wild on the 5th reel.
      • Middle splits all rows of the 5th column.
    • Bottom doubles the 3x3 Wild.

    Bonus Buy

Access and open the Nolimit Feature panel from the base game and buy a preferred Roadkill bonus for 60, 200, or 500 times bet, respectively!

How to Win at Roadkill Slot

Some of the features might not be straightforward. But the Roadkill demo from GoodLuckMate offers a practical trial of all of them at no cost!

The 5x3 reel set doesn’t break the mould. But it adopts up to 99 paylines, which is slightly non-conventional.

Winnings happen when identical symbols are connected on adjacent reels on the same row or one row up or down from left to right.

You choose a bet between €0.20 and €100 sizes before spinning the reels manually or automatically. For the former option, use Spin, but for auto-spins, activate the Autoplay mode, allowing you to set several rounds and optional limits.

Finally, the Roadkill slot game paytable expands when you click on Menu.

    Roadkill Slot RTP & Volatility

With a high variance, the gameplay attracts a hit rate of 23.37%. Further, the Roadkill RTP is 96.04%, but it changes when using bonus buy.

    The Final Thoughts

If you’re ever curious about slots with a mega-load of features, Nolimit City will never disappoint you. And, while I’ve reviewed their slots a lot of times before, going through this slot’s bonuses was like trying to count stars in a night’s sky. Simply endless!

The upside is that enthusiasts will find new and enthralling features to keep them smiling throughout their sessions.

However, if you’re not well-acquainted with some of them, they might end up being more intricate than fun. Thankfully, this Roadkill slot review describes them in detail, giving you a solid kickstart to your experience.

As for me, I’m always down to try out Nolimit games because of their unique storylines and original features. Moreover, this selection has a significant max exposure of 11,091x your bet, which seems achievable owing to the bountiful of in-game extras!
