This Pragmatic Play slot isn’t graphically appealing, as is usually the case with other games from this developer. But it’s an utterly unique design that combines what looks like an ancient world with the modern banking system.

A huge building designed in the ancient Roman style occupies the background. A black-suited banker stands in front of the building and to the right of the grid. Meanwhile, green flags, which I assume bear the institution’s logo, are displayed across The Green Sun backdrop.

The sounds include clanking effects and a soundtrack that suits the theme. Before moving to the symbols, the reels take after a 6 by 5 layout with a Scatter Pays engine!

Symbols and Payouts

You are mistaken if the symbols will help you uncover the theme since they include money, various infrastructures, and other unrelated items. However, the main concern isn’t how the symbols look but how much they pay.

Before I list the symbols in The Green Sun, it’s worth noting that their values are multiplied by the total bet!

The Red, Blue, and Green Banknotes start the list as the low-paying level by giving out 0.25-2x, 0.4-4x, and 0.5-5x the bet, respectively.

They are followed closely by Gold and Silver Coins, a Gem, and a Train, which pay 0.8-8x, 1-10x, 1.5-12x, and 2-15x the stake, respectively.

You must enable the ante bet to double your chances of triggering the free spins. As a result, the bet multiplier changes from 20x to 25x, and more scatters appear on the reels. However, the free spins become disabled.

I'd like to know what Pragmatic wants to get at from recycling similar game experiences with different themes. Or does the company think slot fans won’t notice? Even worse, the slot has very high volatility and only supports bets that are ideal for casino high-spenders. On that note, I don’t think it’s worth playing unless you want to reminisce about similar past experiences.
