More information about Boleto – Payments at Online Casinos
How to deposit with Boleto
To make a Boleto deposit, you first need to check that your bank accepts the method. If it does, head on over to the cashier at the casino you’re using and select Boleto/Boleto Bancário as the payment method. Type in the amount you want to deposit to receive an online bank slip. You’ll need to present this bank slip at your bank, where you’ll pay the deposit with cash.
If your bank has an online banking feature, you’ll be able to complete the deposit that way, instead of having to visit a bank in person. These days, you can also complete the deposit at an ATM, or by using a credit or debit card issued by a Brazilian bank.
Note that a Boleto bank slip has an expiry date. If you don’t complete the payment before that date, you’ll have to get a new slip to make your deposit.
How to withdraw to Boleto
Due to the unique nature of this method, unfortunately, it’s not possible to withdraw to Boleto. If you’re planning on making a Boleto withdrawal from an online casino, you’ll have to choose another method instead. Thankfully, there are quite a few other payment methods available for withdrawals that will still keep your financial details safe.
The most common methods are e-wallets, such as Skrill or Neteller. These methods allow you to cash out from your casino account, even if you initially deposited using Boleto. Note, however, that you might still have to verify your payment methods when requesting a withdrawal. These are the documents you might be asked to provide copies of:
- The Boleto bank slip you used for the deposit
- Your ID/Passport
- A utility bill showing your residential address
- Proof of your withdrawal method. You may be required to provide a screenshot of your e-wallet, a copy of your credit card, or a copy of a bank statement. It all depends on the method you choose.
You can learn more about KYC verification in our expert guide.
Limits and fees
There’s just one fee connected to Boleto payments and that’s a service fee. This fee usually ranges from 6% to 8%. When it comes to limits, we haven’t been able to find any information about limits on the actual Boleto payments as such. What you might come across with respect to limits are those set by the casinos themselves. These limits vary greatly from casino to casino. From what we’ve seen, you may find daily limits as low as $10 and as high as $3000, depending on the casino.
Boleto bonus at online casinos
If you’re looking for a Boleto bonus, you’ll be able to find them scattered around the online casinos that accept this payment method. Something you’ll need to keep in mind when using this method for a bonus is the processing time. It won’t be possible for you to take part in offers that expire the same day since, even if you make your deposit instantly, it will take 1-3 days for the money to arrive at the casino.
That said, welcome offers can be obtained using Boleto Bancário, but you’ll have to wait until the amount appears on your casino account before you can start playing. In some instances, you may have to contact customer support to get them to credit the bonus to your account manually. This is usually stated on the casino site, but if you’re unsure, feel free to reach out to the casino’s support team before making your deposit. You can read more about bonuses in our in-depth bonus guide.
